​Genesis 29:3 “It was the custom there to wait for all the flocks to arrive before removing the stone and watering the animals. Afterward the stone would be placed back over the mouth of the well.”
 
Have you ever noticed this passage? A stone is rolled away so that water may flow.
 
When Jesus was resurrected, the stone was rolled away from the tomb, releasing the water that flows to water His flock.
 
John 7:37-39 ESV “On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’” Now this He said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
 
Have you been watered by the Spirit? Have you received His refreshment?
 
Many are weary and languishing from the deep need for the watering of the Spirit. Come to Jesus and He will show you the living water that will reenergize and sustain you.
 
I am taking away all that people have relied upon outside of Me. There is fear and concern because there is so much change right now and things don’t make sense, but they do make sense! I am returning My people to Me. Bringing you to the fountain of LIFE and rolling away the stone so that you may be watered.
 
There is nothing in this world that will ever take care of you. I will take care of you.
 
There is nothing in this world that will provide for you. I will provide for you.
 
There is nothing in this world that will bring you to life and give you the desires of your heart. I will.
 
There is nothing in this world that will provide all it says it will provide. I will.
 
You are not a human doing. You are a human being. Focus on who you are being and the doing part will fall in line. Really! You cannot justify yourself through work or money or retirement or anything else. You cannot justify yourself at all.
 
I made you in My image (Genesis 1:26). You are justified.
 
I knew you and chose you long ago, and My Spirit has made you holy (1 Peter 1:2)
 
I reconciled you to Me through Jesus death and resurrection and now you are in My Presence, holy and blameless as you stand here before me without any faults (Colossians 1:22
 
Please stop trying to justify yourself or your life. There is no need. I have already taken care of it. You are already valuable beyond words. Don’t believe the lies of the enemy telling you that you need to earn your righteousness or your worth. It is not true. You are righteous for My sake (Psalm 23:3). You are valuable because I made you. You don’t have to earn anything from Me or in this world.
 
Life will be much more enjoyable when you rest in this truth and allow My Spirit to flow through you like living water.
 
Let go of anything that hinders you from living this way. I will give you something better!
 
Don’t be afraid of suffering. When you are filled with My living water through My Spirit suffering is completely different and Jesus takes on all of your suffering.
 
Don’t be afraid. Believe you are invincible and life will be much more enjoyable. Believe also in Me. I will do great things in your life. Rest in My arms and let go of all of your worries. Stop waiting to live for that moment when everything has come together and makes sense. Live today. You have been blessed. Enjoy the blessing without always seeking more so that you will feel blessed. You have been blessed, you will continue to be blessed, and I will be with you every step of the way.
 
Make a change today and live this way.
 
I am with you, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). This is all you need to know.

Genesis 18:20 ESV “Then the LORD said, ‘Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great and their sin is very grave,’”
​
From Sherri…One moment before I started this Daily Message, right after reading a series of news articles, I stated ‘Oh Lord, this world is so ridiculous right now. Just as I said this I heard Him say “Genesis 18:20”. Prior to that, when I asked for a verse this morning, He was silent.
 
From God: Be careful not to predict what I will say about this verse! I may surprise you!
 
There is a time to destroy…I did that with Sodom and Gomorrah and in Noah’s time and with the Israelites over many years, in the hope that destroying evil would point to the goodness that is possible, but this time I am doing something very different. This time I am choosing to bless those least deserving hoping they will see My love and glory as a result.
 
So far the results are mixed.
 
Will you join Me?
 
When you find someone’s actions atrocious or despicable, will you “cry out” a blessing over them…to see My face…to experience My love and not be scared of Me?
 
You may not agree with them 1 little bit, but could you join Me in the experiment and speak a blessing over them.
 
As they are blessed, so too will you be!
 
Let’s give it a try all together and see what happens!

My words created the universe
Created life itself
My words are life!
 
Does it feel like your life is lying in the dust? Is part (or all) of it feeling like it Is disintegrating rather than coming to life?
 
There is a simple answer! My words.
 
My words create life.
 
Come seek them through the Bible. Read Psalm 119 and see how My words, My law, My commands, My instructions bring life, delight, and peace.
 
Yes, this means that My laws and commands should be followed.
 
And it means that reading My word will enhance life.
 
And it explains why, when you seek My specific words, guidance, instruction, and encouragement and even My discipline your life comes alive, awakens, becomes clear, and your path is illuminated.
 
Psalm 119:105 “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
 
My words bring life
Seek them
 
How?
 
Revisit the Levels of seeking Me and My instruction from the October 30th Daily Message.
 
Put time, energy, and resources toward hearing Me and My words for you.
 
Your life will awaken in ways it simply has not previously.
 
My words awaken life.
 
Seek them
 
Seek Me
 
Seek My promises
 
Put something else on hold. Save up your resources and redirect them to what gives life. Spend actual time, energy, and resources on truly studying My word and gaining My specific instructions for your life!
 
Let My words encourage you and show you your path…and then follow Me, obey My words, let the disintegrating parts fall to the dust and cling to the life-giving words I give to you and experience life awakening, reviving, and My life coming alive in you.
 
Seek My words, My guidance, My instruction. Put it into practice!
And experience life more abundant than ever before (John 10:10)

​Psalm 91:4 ESV “He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and buckler.”
 
Pinions are the outer part of a wing, so they indicate Me reaching My wings over you for protection.
 
Under My wings – gives a very strong image of giving you shelter and protection. It is protection from being pursued, and from danger and trouble. When you are beneath My wings, those pursuing you move away because they know any attack is futile and a waste of time and resources.
 
Refuge – Think of refuge as increasing the closer into My body you come. When I reach My wings over you, you are protected and as you move in closer to Me under My wings you find greater warmth, security, and a sense of protection.
 
Faithfulness – many people question if they can count on Me or what they need to do for Me to be faithful, but faithfulness is “baked in” to My very being – My very nature is solidly anchored because of faithfulness (2 Timothy 2:13)
 
Shield – something providing protection – usually thought of as protection from horizontal attacks – although they also work when put over one’s head.
 
Buckler – a small shield, easily moveable to protect from a localized attack.
 
Do you feel afraid, anxious, or worried?
 
My wings are stretched out over you, drawing you in closer to My body. My faithfulness is before you and behind you – protecting you from horizontal attacks and My buckler moves all around you protecting you from errant or “random” attacks / arrows that come clos to you.
 
Know this is true and focus inward on Me, seeing My protection, and turning your focus away from what might be coming.
 
One way to do this is to live today and not yesterday or in anticipation of tomorrow. Listen to My advice for today and allow it to inform your past and future rather than letting the past or future inform today.
 
I bless you today with a sense of being within My protective armor (Ephesians 6) while under My wings, close to My body. Do not look to other people’s plights as evidence of lack of protection or faithfulness because you simply don’t know their story and this is a tactic of the enemy.
 
Instead, keep your eyes on Me.

​Isaiah 13:2 NLT “Raise a signal flag on a bare hilltop. Call up an army against Babylon. Wave your hand to encourage them as they march into palaces of the high and mighty.”
 
There are armies who do My bidding and accomplish what I instruct them to do. I am still very much involved in the activities of the world, but My motives and involvement can be hard to discern through hearing about the conflicts second hand, but if you look carefully, and open your heart and mind to Me, you will be able to discern, and I will show you.
 
At the heart of every conflict, however, is one and only one thing…bringing My children home to Me for all eternity…establishing My people and nation and deepening their faith in Me.
 
I am not saying every conflict is My doing, that would be incorrect. I don’t like working through conflict and armies and war and yet, when so many of My children walk away from what is truly good for them and they stop actively listening to, and seeking, Me, I have to gain their attention somehow.
 
Oh, how different this world would be if each “high and mighty” person had someone “in their pocket” as a resource of My wisdom words, and guidance in their weekly or even monthly endeavors. They have technology in their pockets, but rarely do they reach out through it to people who hear Me powerfully on their behalf.
 
I am “taking back” ground lost over the past decades, and My people need to be seeking My guidance and words through the Bible, My communication in their day to day lives, in their times with Me, and though My chosen prophets. Thank you for reading this and listening to Me today. Your day and your life is blessed as a result. Reach out! I may be found and My will done and guidance is available for every problem and every single matter!  

Ezekiel 33:11 ESV “As I live, declares the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn back, turn back from your evil ways, for why will you die, O house of Israel?”
 
So many say they cannot believe in a God who would send people to hell. But know this, it tears Me apart every single time I lose a child for all eternity. It hurts Me more than someone on earth losing their child to death because:
1. I know what will happen to them.
2. I know that I will never get to enjoy My son or daughter the way I so desperately had hoped when I created them.
3. I am saddened by the need for free will and wish I could take it away to ensure every one of My children come to be with Me for all eternity but…that is not what they want….and free will cannot be removed.
4. I am deeply hurt by the rejection. So deeply hurt that someone I imagined, dreamed, formed, knit together, nurtured, and sacrificed My son for would simply not want Me. It is very hard every time it happens.
 
There are so many ways to reject Me while making it seem like a reasonable and cautious thing to do…almost logical or prudent but let’s recognize it for what it is…rejecting Me and all My desires for you, your life, and your eternity.
 
You can say you don’t want to believe in Me because:

• I “created” hell
• I let people suffer or starve
• I hate people like (gay, divorced, murderers, sinners – or anything else.)
• You don’t know if I am real or not
• You want a predictable God who cares about comfort over eternal life
• You can’t believe I created the world and science makes more sense (even though I created science of course)
• I might ask you to do something you don’t want to do
• You might end up less well off

 
All of these are reasons I hear all day, every day, but that is like choosing to eat the slop in a pig's pen instead of choosing to follow your sense of smell to a feast close to you. Follow your sense and come to Me! I may not be predictable, but I am very good! Let go of the excuses and just come to Me!

Jeremiah 33:20 ESV “Thus says the LORD. If you can break My covenant with the day and My covenant with the night, so that day and night will not come at their appointed time.”
 
The next verse continues to say it will  be possible to break My covenant with David, that he will always have a son on the throne (Jer 33:21). Notice the strength of this statement…obviously you cannot change the day and night so My covenant with David is secure. My covenant with David is fulfilled trough Jesus and by Jesus. He is the Son of David because He comes through David’s blood line. He reigns forever (Revelation 11:15), and this was achieved – My covenant was fulfilled because He arrived on earth, was crucified, rose again, and took His everlasting place on His through because He was willing to sacrifice everything.
 
Know this, please. There is nothing you can do or not do that breaks My covenant. Please don’t let anything get in the way of our eternal covenant with each other. Nothing can. So don’t let it.
 
Come near to Me.
 
Lay down anything and everything that could get in your way and come, confidently, to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Nothing else matters. Nothing can come between Me and you, just like nothing can cause My covenant with the day and night to be broken…unless you want or allow it to with your free will, which I will fully honor. If you are trying to stay at arm’s length from Me and you choose to do this by focusing on something egregious you have done, thinking that your actions, choices, or sins are more powerful than My covenant or Jesus’ sacrifice and resurrection when He conquered all sin and conquered even death, then you can. You can choose to keep Me at arm’s length…
 
Or…
 
You can remove all obstacles between you and the true and complete love  you so deeply desire and rest in My arms without hindrance, simply by receiving the powerful gift given to you by Christ Himself by simply thanking Him and believing in His love for you. Just believe it for a moment…and see what happens. Believe in the fullness of His love for you – it will unite us as one and you will find life everlasting here on earth, which you deeply desire and yet recognize you need Jesus to fulfill.
 
It's okay…just believe. I will take care of the rest!

Genesis 9:18 NLT “The sons of Noah who came out of the boat with their father were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. (Ham is the father of Canaan.)
 
The choices of the father impact the children. Yes, I say I will not punish the sons for their father’s choices but it cannot be denied that when fathers make bad choices their children often suffer. I say this for 2 reasons:
 
1.For you to be cognizant that your choices impact more than you so that you can take this into consideration as you make decisions.
2.When you are impacted by the bad choices of your ancestors you can recognize the source and come to Me to change the outcome.
 
Don’t be concerned about the sins of your ancestors…I did, and I do the impossible.
 
There is nothing that cannot be turned around of “fixed” in your life. Nothing at all! Recognizing the root helps show where forgiveness is necessary and helps set you free from the behavior and any judgement or assumptions around it.
 
But the most important thing to remember is that I am your true father. You can connect to Me as your Father and then the only choices that impact you are ones I make.
 
How?
 
Let’s believe for a moment that what is in the Bible is actually true and all humankind can be traced back to the Garden and Adam and Eve. Even if you believe the bible is an allegory you can imagine this to be true theoretically. I am not saying you are right, but I don’t want you to miss out on the powerful realization I am providing now.
 
Regardless of what you believe, imagine that I am the Father of Adam because I created him and so you can, actually or theoretically, trace your ancestry directly to Me. If you cut out all the middle ancestors, you will recognize that you are directly My child. I know this is a stretch but when you consider the number of people who talk about how they inherited something negative from their parents, or in their family line, I want you to recognize that all your ancestors sins have been taken care of by Jesus and, in effect, erased from your heritage so all of those traits simply disappear as you connect directly to Me as your Father.
 
Sure, it requires some energy and effort to disconnect from father and mother and connect fully with Me but it is very possible, and I highly encourage thinking about genetics and ancestors differently…
 
This doesn’t change My desire for you to honor your father and mother as I state in the 10 commandments, but it does change how you discuss genetic problems or behaviors due to your physical parents.
 
Think of Me as your adopted Father (Romans 8:15) and connect to Me in every way as you learn about your past, your genes and your biological parents. Then begin to experience more and more of My attributes and My health than you do of your parents.
 
Give it a try and discover what happens!

Philippians 4:4 ESV “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.”
 
It is with great pleasure that I get to hear My children rejoice. It makes My heart rejoice also. So much is said about gratitude, praise, and rejoicing and it is something particularly under attack right now. Your rejoicing counteracts the attack and brings peace and joy not only to you but to the whole Kingdom.
 
Remember how your parents used to say “If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything”? This was taken too far in their generation because they didn’t talk about important things that were hard to talk about but it would be good to consider this advice again. If you are saying something just to express your opinion about someone or something in particular and it doesn’t really need to be said, consider saying something else or not sharing.
 
If it is hurtful and will not accomplish any good because it is not part of an active dialogue where either understanding or relationship is the goal – then it is simply hurtful and it not only hurts them potentially, it also hurts your own heart by hardening it slightly and it hurts the Kingdom by siding with the enemy If it is gossip….well you know how I feel about gossip (Proverbs 17:9, Proverbs 18:8, Proverbs 18:21, 2 Corinthians 12:20, Ephesians 4:29, James 1:29, James 4:11).
 
Rejoicing covers many offenses and increases resiliency, it counter acts depression, anxiety, and fear…so why is it so hard? With all the talk of seeking happiness and joy it seems that rejoicing and gratitude would be a bigger part of the conversation. It is hard to rise up above the darkness, to change one’s perspective and brain chemistry as a result but it is powerful.
 
Here are the two most powerful things in the world. They, more than anything else, will transform not only you but al that surrounds you – even more than preaching the gospel, healing the sick, casting out demons, and raising the dead (Matthew 10:8). They transform internally and externally both. They change your heart, mind, body, and soul and uplift your spirit – giving it purpose and joy. The two things are:
 
1.Love (Me, your neighbor, you, your enemy) and
2.Rejoice (praise gratitude, worship).
 
If you want to truly transform yourself and the whole world around you, study what these 2 things mean from the Bible’s perspective, pray into them, and do the hard work of bringing them into your life!

​Hebrews 10:16 NLT “This is the new covenant I will make with My people on that day, says the LORD; I will put My laws in their hearts and I will write them on their minds.”
 
Imagine this…instead of wondering or struggling to know the law and what to do or not to do, you will simply do what aligns with My law and My Will because it will be written on your hearts and minds. It will be second nature (or first nature) for you.
 
Imagine that….sin no longer pulls at you…your desire and My desire align, and that is what daily life is like. This is the Most Holy Place (Hebrews 10:19) and it is how you get to be in My Presence “with sincere hearts fully trusting Him” (Hebrews 10;22) and it is available now because Jesus has already made you clean.
 
This is not future talk. It is available now. You don’t have to try to get there, you can simply set aside all that holds you back and run to Me (Hebrews 12:10) in My Spirit and be in My presence (Colossians 1:22).
 
You must believe this and stand firmly on it (Colossians 1:23) and you must believe that My desire is to reward you (Hebrews 11:6).
 
Believe all this is true.
Ask Me to write My laws on your heart and mind.
Allow Jesus’ sacrifice to fully cleanse you of all sin and guilt.
And come into My Presence.
 
Enjoy life.
Sing praises.
Explore and learn.
Knowing that Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords (Revelation 19:16)
 
Live life to the fullest in My Presence!

Jeremiah 13:2 NLT “So I bought the loincloth as the LORD directed me and I put it on.”
 
How often do I ask you to do things that don’t seem to make sense and yet your obedience is critical?
 
There is a much bigger plan going on than you can imagine. Your obedience, whether you understand it or not, makes a difference. Sometimes you will feel a need to pray for someone or a group of people unexpectedly or go talk to someone or feel an assignment to go do something. Of course, you always have a choice and yet your obedience is very much appreciated and impacts the Kingdom.”
 
Iin this case, I used this loincloth to demonstrate something much bigger to Jeremiah. I am using this loincloth to tell the Israelites that their egos and pride, their disobedience to Me, will cause their destruction and give them the opportunity to repent and make different choices, to set aside stubbornly following their own desires and worshipping other Gods (verses 13:10, 16). If Jeremiah had not been obedient, the Israelites would not have receive My warning.
 
Do not beat yourself up when you don’t obey, that does not do any good either, but please know that the main point here is not My overall plan or even your obedience, although both of those are important. The primary focus is simply what I share here with the Israelites
 
Jeremiah 13:11 ESV “For as the loincloth clings to the waist of a man, so I made the whole house of Judah cling to Me, declares the LORD, that they might be for Me a people, a name, a praise, and a glory”
 
I want you to be My people. For people to see you and see that you are connected with Me and you are a praise and a glory to Me. Then, they too, will be compelled to know Me, which brings greater praise and glory, which leads more into My Kingdom and brings more of Me to the earth and handles all problems being faced today. Your obedience does really make a difference, and I am thrilled when you obey…and yet I have a lot of grace when you do not and find other ways to do what is important, but I want you to be the one that gets to participate.

​Genesis 19:19 NLT “And evening passed and morning came, marking the fourth day.”
 
Marking time.
 
When you are young you have so little control over where and how you spend your time. Then you don’t realize the value of time. As you get older you come to realize that time is not unlimited, and you start focusing more on what actually matters. Then you get much older and it seems you return to having little control over what you do with you time because you are no longer able to do very many things and then you start simply passing time – waiting for it to be over.
 
…and then life has been spent and you are done.
 
Time, like money, is a commodity. It can be used for many things, or it can be wasted. You can fill your time with meaningless activities or meaningful ones. You can put things off until tomorrow or you can overcram everything into today. Both extremes waste life because neither focus on the aliveness of today.
 
As I created this world, I knew what I wanted to accomplish. I knew I had 6 days to accomplish it and I paced it accordingly. When I finished the fourth da, I did not rush to start the fifth day and I also did not say – “Wow, all that creating of the lights that separate day and night was really challenging, I need a break and the agenda for the fifth day can wait.”
 
Life has a rhythm to it.
 

• Outlining what is important to the best of your knowledge
• Breaking it down into reasonable chunks
• Doing the work or activity
• Looking at what you did and evaluating it (i.e. ”and God saw that It was good.” Genesis 1:18)
• Noticing the time that has passed – marking your time and life.

 
Sometimes you know more of your path and other times you know less of it because I haven’t revealed any more than you need to know, or I am building your trust in Me, but either way….note what is good for this year, month, week, day, hour – and then go do that and be finished when you are finished and notice what you have accomplished and recognize the good you have done. Then do that again the next day.
 
Live your life with intentionality, not living for yesterday or tomorrow, but for today, to the best of your knowledge, knowing I created you for such a time as this (Esther 4:14).

Acts 16:17 NLT “She followed Paul and the rest of us shouting, ‘These men are servants of the Most High God and they have come to tell you how to be saved.”
 
The story continues with Paul getting exasperated by this going on and casting a demon out of the slave girl who was about to tell the future. Her owners no longer had the ability to make money off of her and were angry.
 
There are a few interesting aspects to this verse…
 
1.They were making a lot of money off this girl’s fortune telling…the amplified version states the
 
“…servant girl had a spirit of divination [[that is, a demonic spirit claiming to foretell the future and discover hidden knowledge], and she brought her owners a good profit by fortune-telling.” Acts 16:16
 
The only way they could be making money off of this evil spirit is if it had some knowledge that isn’t readily available. Knowledge that rings true to the recipient. How is this possible? Can demons see the future?

2.Evil spirits have no problem proclaiming that Jesus is the Son of God (Matthew 8:29) or people going to teachers (church) who knew the way to be saved. They know God is one (James 2:19) yet that is not enough!
​
3.Paul got exasperated by her following them and yelling out “they know the way to be saved”. You would think Paul would appreciate the endorsement, but he gets frustrated and casts the demon out of her. Notice that! She didn’t ask for it to be cast out; it was speaking the truth – but distracting people from the One who could save them – Jesus.
 
Every time a demon speaks, look for the lie (or tell it to leave and stop lying). If what they say is true or from the Bible, check the context (Matthew 4:1-11)! This demon wanted everyone to look to Paul as some sort of god and that is part of the distraction. But also notice that Paul is training others and one of the dangers of being new to signs and wonders is to try to justify or prove yourself or put the attention onto yourself. The demon is encouraging this through this girl’s voice…trying to “puff up” Paul and the newer believers to focus on themselves being “greater” than other people and to lose focus on the message which is to know Jesus personally as your savior.
 
Paul saw what the demon was doing and stopped it – whether the girl wanted this or not we do not know. We also see that he did not fill her with the Holy Spirit, and we don’t know from this passage if she was saved or if something worse happened to her (Matthew 12:45) we only know that he cast out the demon and it left that very hour.
 
The point of this is to not give power or credence to what demons do or say even when they appear to be speaking truth. There is always a lie. Even if they know the future and mysteries – do not listen to them. They want you so focused on the future and where you are going that you forget to take Jesus with you on the journey. They want you on your own without Him where they can isolate and distract you even further…taking you further and further away from Me! 

Genesis 19:28 NLT “But God had listened to Abraham’s request and kept Lot safe, removing him from the disaster that engulfed the cities on the plain.
 
Many people say to Me “Lord, tell me what You want me to do and I will do it. Your Will be done.” And I want to thank you for this and also let you know a bit more about how the Kingdom works.
 
First, there is My Will, which is absolute, and it will happen. If one person doesn’t do what they need to do to fulfill My Will, I will do it through another.
 
Then, there are all the other things…that we get to do together. Things that do not change the course of eternity. As you read in Ecclesiastes, there are many things that “do not matter” (Ecclesiastes 1:14) or “have already been done” (Ecclesiastes 1:9) or do not have eternal impact. These are the areas we get to simply do work together, enjoy each other’s presence and they do not impact eternity specifically because of what you have done (Ecclesiastes 5:19-20). Instead, what is happening is you are becoming more (or less) like Me, mad in My image, based on the choices you make.
 
This is the “playing field” and it develops your character and leads you to operate in the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) if you welcome the Holy Spirit into your life. As you see here in today’s verse, Abraham made a request that had a long-lasting impact, and I honored it. If I had not honored the request, it would mean that his will contradicted My Will and then I would do My Will.
 
As you live your life, I am happy to honor your requests or if you really prefer to simply do what I know best, that is fine too. The important thing is that we do this life together and we get to begin to live eternity at this very moment because we are walking in the garden in the cool of the day together (Genesis 3:8)

​Matthew 9:21 NLT “…for she thought,” If I can just touch His robe, I will be healed.”
 
Do you believe you will be healed?
 
Or do you pray and ask for healing, hoping I will “prove Myself” and heal?
 
When Jesus called someone to the front of the synagogue with a withered hand, fully intending to show His power and authority so that people would believe in who He is..do you think He thought – “I wonder if God will back Me up and heal this man’s arm?” (Mark 3:1-5)
 
No!
 
He created a high intensity situation so that He could show Himself to the world.
 
If you don’t see miraculous healings, is it because you do not believe and then your half faith attempts at healing confirm that I don’t heal? Is it possible that you attempt to heal for the wrong reasons?
 
 The whole reason why Jesus healed was to back up His claim that He is the Son of God, the Savior, the One whom I sent. Without miracles and healing why would anyone believe Him?
 
They wouldn’t!
 
Do you want miracles and healing for the sake of miracles and healings, or do you want them so that people (yourself and the recipient) will know that I am God and I love them, and they should turn their lives around and follow Jesus?
 
Know what you are truly asking for before praying for a miracle and check your heart to determine your true “goal”.
 
Do you want people to know Me and
 
“[Praise] God for giving humans such authority.” Matthew 9:8 NLT
 
Or…do you want them to feel personally and intensely that I love them:
 
John 3:16 NLT “For this is how God loved the world; He gave His One and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.”
 
Or…do you want to experience healings and miracles so you will experience Me personally and intensely and experience first-hand the power and authority Jesus died and was resurrected for so He could give it to you?
 
Or…are you trying to prove yourself, justify your value or hope that there is something special about you…looking for approval?
 
If the last one is true I have already approved of you, you are immensely valuable to Me – Jesus died for you and this proves your value! The first 2 reasons are the post powerful. The third is a natural result.
 
Seek Me and My Kingdom first (Matthew 6:33).
 
Of course, I love that you are praying for healing and miracles and may just do the healing anyway even if it is for the wrong reason so…keep trying! Just check in with Me and continue on your own path of healing as you explore!

Ecclesiastes 2:17 NLT “So I came to hate life because everything done here under the sun is so troubling. Everything is meaningless—like chasing the wind.”
 
Please don’t be discouraged by this verse. If you understand how it fits into everything it makes more sense.
 
The whole of what is learned by Ecclesiastes is this…
 
This world is temporary. Eternal life is forever, so live now and enjoy yourself but don’t expect it to satisfy that incredible desire for heaven, perfection, and all eternity that lives within you. It never will.
 
This is why I gave you this commandment…
 
Exodus 20:4 NLT “You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea.”
 
I know, fully, that nothing on his earth will ever satisfy that deep need you feel each day, pulling you toward peace, satisfaction and fulfillment. This can only come from Me and the perfection of living with Me in the Garden, which will be restored at the proper time.
 
It is good for you to hate anything that lies to you telling you it will satisfy you including:

• Work
• A spouse
• A family
• Possessions
• Success
• Financial freedom
• Beauty
• Weight

 
Yes, I want you to enjoy all of these things.
 
Ecclesiastes 5:18-20 NLT says “Even so, I have noticed one thing, at least, that is good. It is good for people to eat, drink, and enjoy their work under the sun during the short life God has given them, and to accept their lot in life.  And it is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—this is indeed a gift from God. God keeps such people so busy enjoying life that they take no time to brood over the past.”
All these things are good, and you are welcome to seek them out, but they will not satisfy you! Only I will satisfy you and you will only be fully and truly satisfied when all is restores…but you will experience some of it here on earth and so enjoy that and don’t be distracted by the deceitfulness of wealth (mark 4:19). Instead, know that I am fully satisfying and give you all you need (Matthew 6:33) and do as the teacher shares with you as his final conclusion:
 
Ecclesiastes 12:13 NLT “Fear God and obey His commands for this is everyone’s duty.”
 
I don’t tell you this because I need to be feared and obeyed but because I know that when you do this you will find your greatest satisfaction and experience ethe fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23)

Mark 3:19 NLT “Judas Iscariot (who later betrayed Him)”
 
As she writes this, of course Sherri is wondering if she heard Me wrong for today’s verse (and you may be also…). This is when Jesus is choosing the disciples, and this verse again shows a lot about My character.
 
You might ask…why would I have selected Judas as one of the disciples when I knew it would put him in the very position necessary for him to betray Jesus. It’s a good question…
 
Some think the answer is a predestination which would mean the betrayal was inevitable so he had to be on the team of disciples so that his “destiny” could be reveals.
 
Others say that I knew Jesus needed to be betrayed and that Judas would do it so I put him in the team of 12 disciples, but neither of these are correct.
 
The truth is that I do anything and everything possible to bring My children home to Me. I have them born at the time they are born. I put them in families, neighborhoods, countries, so that they, specifically, will be set up for the greatest likelihood of meeting Me and knowing Me. This was true for Judas also. I knew his heart, his makeup, the way he thought, even his need for control and ability to figure out the “best” way to achieve his goals. He had very specific ideas of what My Kingdom would look like and how it would come about but he could never have foreseen what actually would happen unless…he read the scriptures diligently and studied them and was very close to Jesus to see, hear, and discern how I planned to bring My Kingdom to earth. I put him on the 12-disciple team because that was the path of greatest probability of him actually understanding My plan so he could also be saved.
 
Remember, there were plenty of people who wanted Jesus killed. I didn’t need Judas to betray Him in order for the Scriptures to be fulfilled. My desire was for him to know Jesus intimately and lay down his views on how to achieve My plans which involved traditional views on power and money as the primary influencers so that he could see and experience My supernatural power and resources.
 
Please, don’t make this same mistake. I have shown many of you My plans for your life or this world, but if you try to accomplish these plans your own way or traditional ways it will go badly. A better way is to draw near to Me, submit control and belief of what you think I am doing, and let Me lead the way. I have put you in this place, time, and location for specific reasons!

​Psalm 19:2 NLT “Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make Him known.”
 
This verse talks of the heavens proclaiming My glory, but I have a question for you…
 
Do you realize that when you allow yourself to be who I created…when you don’t try to change yourself or be someone else…when you allow yourself to “shine” like the stars or “move through the sky” like the planets or constellations, do you realize that you, also, speak of Me and make Me known?
 
Sometimes it is through your words.
 
Other times it is simply by being who you are…a “slice” of Me, made in My image. The stars don’t even know how beautiful they are. They don’t even know that people study them and watch their movement through the sky…they simply “be” in the place in the heavens where I place them and move where it is natural for them to move.
 
When you “be” who you are and when you naturally flow in the daily pattern of life you declare My glory and make Me known.
 
You are made in My image.
 
You look like Me.
 
How can others, all those people and loved ones you so deeply want to know Me…all those strangers on the street you wis you could reach for Me…how can the not see Me when they look at you. You are a walking and talking miracle – an image of God.
 
All you have to do is let yourself shine and don’t hide the very things about you that are different or unique. This is what I mean by:
 
Matthew 5:14-16 ESV “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
 
Many read this to mean they need to go out and do good works so that they will give Me glory, but I say…you are a good work – made in M y image. Allow yourself to share! If you are hiding under a basket, take it off and be like the stars in the heavens, doing what they naturally do…and it will bring Me great glory!
 
Believe Me! This is true!

Habakuk 3:17 Message “Though the cherry trees don’t blossom and the strawberries don’t ripen, though the apples are worm eaten and the wheat fields stunted, though the sheep pens are sheepless and the cattle barns empty, I’m singing joyful praise to God. I’m turning cartwheels of joy to my Savior God. Counting on God’s rule to prevail, I take heart and gain strength. I run like a deer. I feel like I’m king of the mountain.”

I know what you need. I really do. And sometimes I show you that you actually need Me more than anything else. You have to admit that I have provided very generously for very many people. Look at the nations in the world. Affluence exceeds poverty and yet people doubt Me because of the few who are truly struggling. I know it seems like a lot of people, but you have to look at the details and the stories behind the struggling also to get a real picture of what is going on. Talking in generalities simply does not work in this case.
 
Why, oh why, do people look to what is not rather than to what is? It is like choosing to look into a dark hole instead of a beautiful landscape or a lush and vibrant forest or the skies at night filled with stars.
 
It is a choice what you look at…lack or abundance.
 
I am not asking you to ignore anything.
 
But I am asking you to focus on what is good (Philippians 4:8) and, just as Habakuk relayed to you, find significant joy and thanksgiving no matter what circumstances exist.
 
Circumstances come and go.
I bring good out of everything.
Your experience of life will be much more enjoyable if you find joy in Me no matter what…if you praise Me in all circumstances and if you recognize you are a king in the Kingdom of God.
 
Try that on for size!
 
Thank Me in the midst of your deepest problems and find My joy…My joy is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10) that gets you through. Of course you don’t like the circumstances!
 
Praise Me and see what happens.

Psalm 109:2 NLT “…while the wicked slander me and tell lies about me.”
 
These daily messages are pointing out that there are a lot of verses in the Bible that are important to Me that are not the uplifting “print on a shirt or mug” verses.
 
When people come to Me they often believe their lives will get easier and will turn out just right and be so much better. They / you are right. Your life will be so much better, but it will not be easier. You will find more opposition and the wicked will actively attempt to slander you, and you will discover people make assumptions about you that are often lies, simply because you dedicate your life to Me.
 
The more you are dedicated to Me, the more satan will come against you, your family and your friends because you are now a threat to him but this does not need to concern you at all and you can keep taking steps toward Me in confidence, knowing that I am more powerful than satan, which was clearly shown when he opposed Jesus and was defeated.
 
If you accept the challenge, knowing this journey with Me will be the best thing you have ever done and the hardest – it will be so much easier.
 
If the journey is easy and doesn’t require you to “exercise” the fruits of the Spirit like patience, love, joy, and kindness – then you probably aren’t a threat to the enemy. Of course, every day doesn’t have to feel like a desert, a valley of the shadow of death (Psalm 23:4) or like being behind enemy lines but expecting those times in your life will make it easier to deal with them because they won’t surprise you or catch you off guard.
 
How can you prepare yourself?
 
The armor of God is powerful protection (Ephesians 6)
 
Seek My guidance in every aspect of your life (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
 
Communion and “ingesting” Jesus into your life.
 
Expect miracles and “coincidences” and look for them.
 
Simply know you are in a battle and behave accordingly. Be watchful. Be prepared. Don’t be blindsided by challenges and difficulties. Instead pray and know that prayer is powerful and always causes change.

​Psalm 32:9 MSG “Don’t be ornery like a horse or mule that needs bit and bridle to stay on track.”
The verse before this one is also essential…
 
Psalm 32:8 NLT “The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.”
 
As you navigate this world, I am right here with you, guiding you, telling you which way to go (Isaiah 30:21) and I make it really clear for those who would like to know what I have to say. I know you more intimately than anyone else in the world. I imagined you, formed you (Psalm 139:13) and have intimate knowledge of every moment of your life. Who could be better suited to guide you along your path?
 
I know the universe and all that is in it, I know all that will happen, all that has happened…I know right where you fit in and on top of that, I know the desires of your heart.
 
Let Me guide you on your path without having to “force” you to go where we both want you to go as a horse or mule has to be forced. I am leading you to the absolutely best place you could ever imagine – why resist?
 
Open your self to My guidance.
 
Trust Me like you have never trusted before.
 
Listen to Me and hear Me and join Me on your path back to the Garden where we get to enjoy our days together doing all that you always wished you could do.
 
Come to Me, you are weary! Lay down all perceived needs and expectations and simply seek My path for you.
 
Young….old….anyone in between….it doesn’t matter. Just come to Me.

​1 Chronicles 16:11 NLT “Search for the LORD and His strength; continuously seek Him.”
 
Written from the perspective of the Holy Spirit:
 
I am everywhere and in every situation. I am never not present. When you seek Me out I will be found (Jeremiah 29:13)
 
Come find your strength in Me.
 
Do you feel weak?
 
1 Chronicles 16:8 ESV “Give thanks to the LORD and proclaim His greatness. Let the whole world know what He has done!”
 
Are you exhausted from the news?
1 Chronicles 16:28 “O nations of the world, recognize the LORD, recognize that the LORD is glorious and strong.”
 
Do you wish others you love knew Me better?

• Be like the heavens and be glad (1 Chronicles 16:31)
• Or like the earth and rejoice (1 Chronicles 16:31)
• Or like the sea and everything in it. Shout His praise (1 Chronicles 16:32)
• Or like the fields and crops…bust out with joy (1 Chronicles 16:32)
• Or like the trees of the forest. Sing for joy before the LORD (1 Chronicles 16:33)

 
You cannot change anyone else’s behavior or bring them to the LORD but you can allow yourself to sing, praise, burst with joy, and be filled with peace!
 
Ask Me to fill you with Me.
Be baptized (or filled) in the fruits of the Holy Spirit and find yourself singing for joy in ways or words you never knew before.
    Just ask
        And let Me….
            You will find Me when you seek Me

​Ephesians 3:19 NLT “May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.”
 
Written from Jesus’ perspective:
 
Would you like to experience the fullness of life and power that comes from God?
 
Truly, I ask you that question, it is not rhetorical. Some people do actually want to say “no” because they are afraid of what it will mean for them. My love will transform you and your life into everything you have ever wanted. It will cause you to care about things you care about deeply. It will cause you not to care about things that are irrelevant or temporary.
 
This sounds amazing doesn’t it….and as it happens, people around you and even you, yourself, will question what you are doing. Have you gone mad? Have you lost your mind? How can you not center your life around all the things this world says are the most important things in the world?
 
And satan will chime in too….’You know He doesn’t actually love you. You are an obligation He is required to take care of because He created you and now, He has no choice.” Or “No one could ever really love you that much. Eventually He will discover who you really are and leave – and it is better not to let His love in now because imagine how much it will hurt when it disappears.” Or even “His love isn’t that important, and it certainly won’t bring life and power. No, put your focus back on getting what you need from this world – that is where life comes from….” And then he will tell you to seek the perfect spouse, job, child, vacation, place to live….etc.…and distract you from seeking what brings life and power….My love.
 
Take a moment if you will. Ponder this verse:
 
Ephesians 4:23 NLT “Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes.”
 
You’ve been trying to figure out life on your own for so long! Sit back, rest in My arms for a moment. Give the Holy Spirit permission to renew your thoughts and attitudes, and let My love flow into your mind, heart, soul and strength.

John 3:18 NLT “There is no judgement against anyone who believes in Him. But anyone who does not believe in Him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.”
 
In a time when there is a sense of “everything goes” and any opinions and emotions being valued sometimes more than truth, please pray to Me for sanity and critical thinking to return so that people can be in their right minds and find a loving Jesus as they walk through life.
 
Just because someone doesn’t want to believe in Jesus as My one and only Son, who is the only one who can truly give them life everlasting, does not change the fact that it is true.
 
Please don’t give up praying for your loved ones and the world of people who don’t want to believe in Him and lay their marginal lives down in exchange for the glorious life available to them. Pray for them and then, when you are talking to the, ask Me what to say and what not to say to “put a little salt” into the conversation. It will be different for EVERY SINGLE PERSON so that they will feel loved and appreciated and not judged or condemned.
 
It can be a delicate conversation and yet I always know what they need to hear and when. I know it can lead to contention and potential strife but that is a risk we need to take sometimes to help them hear truth, which is that their life will truly become life as they open their heart to Me.
 
I don’t even mind the “God, if You are there, please show me” or the “if You get me out of this situation I promise I will ______(fill in the blank)”. Those, at least, open their hearts and minds to the possibility of Me and I can work with that.
 
When you know someone who has tried everything else and nothing has worked, ask if you can pray with them to give Jesus a tiny opening to show them who He truly is, and what He can do for their life and situation. He only needs one little opening to help them see the light and find themselves out from under the weight of being judged for not believing in My Son. It doesn’t have to be an intense conversation. Just a “what do you have to lose” conversation. All I need is your boldness to help them take a tiny step toward Me.
 
Do you want to take a step closer to Me too? Invite Me in. I am knocking on your door also! (Revelation 3:21)
