​Ephesians 1:22-23 NLT “God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made Him head over all things for the benefit of the church. And the church is His body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with Himself.”
 
As I shared yesterday, I have put all things under the authority of Christ and have made Him head of all things, just as I say I this verse. This is for your benefit if you are in the body of Christ and since you are here reading there is a very good possibility that you are but I want you to have the fullness of this message and of the power and benefit of this knowledge.
 
Many who come to Me still hold on to other beliefs. They hold on to other concepts, philosophies and religions. It is a “Jesus plus____” approach to spirituality and it is really common. Unfortunately, it weakens the strength of the message of salvation and it weakens your healing and your power in Me. If you are on a diet that requires a great deal of protein and your body is thriving on protein then if you add in sugar or other “treats” it causes the diet to be less effective because it is taking away from the very thing you need most.
 
This is true for Jesus also.
 
I know this will be challenging for many reading this but I say it because it is important. I would like you to do an experiment. Set aside all other gods or concepts or philosophies that are not Jesus for a week and see what happens. It may be another religion or it may be something like money, work, control, or sex…but set it aside for 1 week. Consider it a fast, and set it aside, just for 1 week and see what happens. If I do nothing at all then you will know that what you are doing is fine and there is no problem but be careful to fast completely from it. Ask Me for help if you would like My help!
 
As it says in verse 23 “Christ, who fills all things everywhere with Himself.” As you fast from other things that you believe supplement Jesus in your life, you will find that He fills this space with Himself because He fills all things everywhere. Of course, something cannot be filled unless it is first emptied and so this is what I am doing. I am asking you to empty yourself of other things so that it may be filled with Jesus.
 
Give it a try. After all…what will 1 week hurt?

​Ephesians 1:16 NLT “I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly,”
 
As we talked about yesterday, since you are being faithful you are, in fact, part of the group of people Paul was praying for so many years ago. Think about that for a moment. The man who wrote a great deal of the New Testament, who knew Me incredibly well and heard from Me regularly, the man who dedicated his entire life to following Me and bringing Me powerfully into this world, the man who loved Me more than his very life…was, in essence, praying for you constantly.
 
Have you ever desired to have someone pray for you for something? You have been prayed over constantly.
 
Have you ever heard of other families or people who have received years and generations of prayer support and you wished that for yourself or your family? You have received it.
 
Have you ever wished that someone had wanted you more than you felt wanted or that you could be enough in this world? Paul has not ever stopped thanking God for you!
 
What is it that you most desire in the Kingdom. Know that it is yours. I really mean this…know that it is yours.
 
Mattheew 21:21 NLT “Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.”
 
Have you ever wondered why I wait until the last minute to do what you need?
 
A very smart man once said…it is because it is easy to trust Me when you are three weeks out from something that you absolutely need Me to provide for but it is much harder when it is one day or one hour away. That is when your trust in Me is really given an opportunity to blossom.
 
This very smart and faithful man also said…if you have a backup plan, then that is what will happen. If you have a bill to pay and you have a credit card that you plan to use if I don’t come through with what you need…that is your backup plan and the moment you have a backup plan in place your faith has waivered and you have taken the problem back into your own hands…and I allow you to take the problem back into your hands almost every single time because you have free will, so therefore, your free will is overriding my actions.
 
I don’t say this to scare you or intimidate you or to judge you for past things that have not happened the way you have wanted them to happen. I only tell you because it is the truth and want you to know.
 
Oh, My darling children. I know how hard it is to have faith in this world. I know that the flesh is a powerful motivator and the brain, particularly in this day and age, is expected to take care of everything. When you put more emphasis on your own brain and ability to figure things out then you put your faith in something other than Me…and I step back in that moment, allowing you what you have asked of Me…for your brain to solve the problem rather than Me.
 
Of course, this does not mean that I do not want you using your brains. I created them and I want you to use them to the fullest (not just the 10% that scientists indicate you use). But when you have a problem or an issue that you are not able to solve, I want you to leave it in My hands.
 
Trust Me, My beautiful children and allow Me to wait until the last minute to come through for you so that you will build your faith and love for Me.

​Ephesians 1:15 NLT “Ever since I first heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for God’s people everywhere”
 
Today’s message builds on previous messages and will continue on over the next few days because these verses all build upon each other. The focus for today, though, is how Paul is hearing about the strong faith of the people in that day. He is sharing with them that he sees their love for My people everywhere.
 
In the verse tomorrow you will find out more about what Paul does because of their strong faith and love for God’s people but it is good to start here today.
 
Do you have strong faith in the Lord Jesus?
Do you love My people everywhere?
 
If either of these feel lacking in you there is a simple answer…ask Me to provide it in and through you. Because I gave you free will, I do not do the things, even the things that I know you want, without you inviting Me into them. If I were to force anything upon you that would be overriding our free will, therefore, giving Me permission or asking Me into something is very important.
 
Many people have an issue with the concept of giving Me permission to do something or even asking Me for something, but it is essential that you recognize that I require it of you. It is not enough to say “God knows my needs and will provide all that I need”, that sounds humble, but it is actually false pride. Instead, it is better to tell Me your needs. It is a way to humble yourself before Me and ask for what you need. It is also a way for you to show Me that you actually believe I will provide it for you. Lastly, it is a way for you to give Me permission and authority to do what you ask for.
 
If you see a homeless person and you go up to them and start giving them advice about how to turn their life around do you think they will receive it?
 
If, instead, a homeless person comes up to you and says, “You look very successful and I really need some help figuring out how to be successful in my life also, could you please give me some advice?” do you think they will better be able to receive your help and advice?
 
This is true of Me also. By you asking, you show that you are thinking about what is going on and recognizing your need. By you asking Me and giving Me permission to work in and through you, you are opening your heart and your mind to the help, direction, and advice that I offer you. Asking is much more for you than it is for Me.
 
So, if you need more faith….ask.
 
Then consider this verse:
 
James 1:6 NLT “But when you ask Him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.”
 
Are you asking Me for more faith but you are also putting your hope in other things? Consider this…do you really want to have faith in Me or do you really want Me to provide the things in your life that you want to have faith in (work, spouse, children, notoriety, etc.).
 
If the answer is that you want faith in Me, then simply ask Me to walk with you and increase your faith.
 
If the answer is that you want Me to provide more of the things that you are putting your faith in….it is good to be honest with yourself. If that is what you want then that is what you will receive. If you want to have faith in Me instead of those other things…simply ask for that.
 
What I am really expressing is that, when you ask things of Me, your prayers and your heart need to be aligned. If you discover they are not, then simply be honest with Me and with yourself and look at what you really want…and ask for that.
 
Today, honestly, consider…what do want to have faith in?
Do you want to love God’s people everywhere?
 
If so, ask.
If not, please be honest with Me and yourself. I can work with that much better than I can work with the words saying you want something that you don’t actually want!

​Ezekiel 3:1 “The voice said to me, “Son of man, eat what I am giving you—eat this scroll! Then go and give its message to the people of Israel.”
 
What strange things I ask My people to do….
 
Eat a scroll….?
 
Fast for strength and clarity and conviction…?
 
Lay down your life for Me (Romans 12:2)
 
Be weak so you can experience My strength (2 Corinthians 12:10)
 
If you are looking for a life that makes sense by human standards, you will struggle with following Me and deepening our relationship because what I ask so often doesn’t make sense logically in this world.
 
Obedience is the key. Obey and let Me handle what happens as a result. This is what I mean, in part, when I say to fear Me. I don’t want you to be afraid of Me but to recognize My ways are different and better than yours and to be willing to show your fear of Me by choosing to obey the strange things I ask of you.
 
For instance – how does it make any sense at all for Me to ask someone who will be great and lifted up in their career to take a step back for over a year and seek only Me – finding very little sense of success during that time but realizing I am all they really want? That makes no sense and yet, that is one example of what I do with and for My people.
 
So, if today I ask you to do something unexpected or strange, I encourage you to do it out of obedience rather than out of logic. Of course, the enemy also tries to get you to do strange things – thinking they are for My Kingdom when they are not – but stay close, take heart, I will make it clear. Stay close to Me. Read the Bible and check if what I ask of you makes sense from  its standards. I won’t ever tell you to do something that goes outside the Bible. I will stretch your understanding of what I mean in the Bible because it is not a book written by men but a book written by Me and through them. So it cannot be interpreted by man alone. My Spirit is required. Allow Me to push the limits of your faith! It will be a great time of expansion for you!

​Ephesians 1:14 AMP “The Spirit is the guarantee [the first installment, the pledge, a foretaste] of our inheritance until the redemption of God’s own [purchased] possession [His believers], to the praise of His glory.”
 
Two days ago we focused on the power of hope, confidence, and praise.
 
Then yesterday our focus was on bringing this power into the world.
 
Today’s focus is on how to view this promised in heritance you received when you believe in Me and were sanctified (made clean) by believing in Jesus Christ.
 
Have you ever noticed that as people get other – 80’s and 90’s that is, they view money very differently. They share it with others, particularly family members, much more often – when they have plenty. They see what is in the bank or investments and realize they have more than enough for the remainder of their life and begin to share what they do have with others so they can enjoy getting to know what that money will be used for. Also, if someone has a need or want that arises before the inheritance is paid, they may choose to give out the inheritance sooner, especially if the need or want brings benefit to them directly.
 
We know that I live outside time and time Is actually a construct to simply function in this world as it is now. We also know that I own all things and have an abundance of wealth of every kind which means that I love to be generous with everything and provide the inheritance “early” because time is somewhat irrelevant for me.
 
Here is the thing though…the human focus is so much on money and you believe that is where the power and provision come from, but money has little to do with abundance. I know what you need, every last dollar for the rest of your life. I know everything you need to fulfill your purpose on earth so that is all taken care of already. It is not the first thing to ask for or focus on…it is the last. The first thing to focus on is the Kingdom:
 
Matthew 6:33 ESV “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
 
Focus on the Kingdom first. Valu it and see it (and Me) as the most valuable “thing” possible here on earth. Live your life from this perspective and you will “bring forward” the fullness of your inheritance now…don’t even think about the money. I know it seems important to you but it is actually the least important of all.

​Ephesians 1:13 AMP “In Him, you also, when you heard the word of truth, the good news of your salvation, and [as a result] believed in Him, were stamped with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit [the One promised by Christ] as owned and protected [by God].”
 
What is your natural response when you read the words that you, who believed in Me when you heard the word of truth, are owned and protected by Me? Do you feel a sense of relief? Do you feel a sense of rebellion or something similar – that it bothers you somewhat?
 
This is good information to have and it simply shows you where you are on your journey with Me. There is no judgement…after all you have believed in Jesus and are “stamped with the seal of the Holy Spirit” which is a huge blessing to Me because you have given Me the greatest gift you could ever give Me. You have given Me the gift of your presence with Me for all eternity. If you have given this gift to Me I thank you so much for it.
 
If you find relief and comfort in the statement that you are owned and protected by Me, I invite you to take a moment and sit in that truth. Put it together with yesterday’s Daily Message – feeling and experiencing what happens when you hope in Me, put your confidence in Me and praise Me.
 
It is as though you step into My hands, look up into My eyes, and see the whole truth as, maybe, you have never seen it before. The truth that, in complete and total love, you realize that you belong to Me and I belong to you (Jeremiah 30:22) and you realize what that really means…the fullness of Me, lives in you through the Holy Spirit. All of My strength, powerful, justice, love, mercy, righteousness lives in you. Not a portion of it divided among billions of people watering it down to a human level. No, all of it. This is the greatest mystery of all in the Kingdom of Heaven. A truly great mystery which is why this verse can be true….
 
Philippians 4:13 Majority Standard Bible “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”
 
And
 
John 14:12 Majority Standard Bible “Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I am doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to My Father.”
 
Believe in Me and you will do greater things than even Jesus did because you are “owned and protected” by Me and we are on the same path together for all eternity.

​Ephesians 1:12 AMP “so that we who were the first to hope in Christ [who first put our confidence in Him as our Lord and Savior] would exist to the praise of His glory.”
 
As you search for joy and peace in this life, consider carefully this verse. It has many clues in it.
 
Hope in Christ – set aside all other hope…and put your hope in Christ! He said to seek first My kingdom and all else will be taken care of (Matthew 6:33) and He meant it. Tat means anything else you put your hope in will not satisfy or provide for you the way confidence in Him as Lord and Savior. It is the responsibility of a true Lord to take care of His people. This role is made more powerful and more responsible (if that is even possible) by also being Savior.
When you place your confidence in Jesus as your Lord and Savior you are submitting to His authority, so it feels vulnerable because you are no longer your own but you are likewise making a statement that He is fully responsible for you in every way! You must do your part of obeying what He says but what you gain is so much greater. He is responsible for your entire life, livelihood, and protection…when you put your confidence in Him and accept Him as Lord and Savior of your life. It sounds heavy but it is a huge relief to live this way!
 
Praise of His glory – when you focus on praising Him and giving Him glory, a funny thing happens…particularly when you’ve put your hope and confidence in Him…a joy that naturally exists within you is released and begins to build, starting from the center of your spirit and radiating outward throughout your soul, body, and mind.
 
The hard part for humans is allowing it to grow and not shutting it down with “I have to be responsible” or “this religion is serious stuff” but it really just makes me want to laugh and smile” or “I can’t feel this good all the time so I have to shut it down” or “this is too good to be true”, or “if I dwell in this place God will let me down and I will end up destitute.”
 
Resist all of these. They are lies stealing abundant life from you (John 10:10).
 
Believe Me!
 
Hope + Confidence in Christ + praise – lies = Joy

​Isaiah 7:11-12 ESV “Ask a sign of the Lord your God; let it be deep as Sheol or high as heaven.” But Ahaz said, “I will not ask, and I will not put the Lord to the test.”
 
John 13:8 ESV “Peter said to him, “You shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you have no share with me.”
 
In both of these passages you see Me offering something very specific and you see the resistance of the people to whom I am offering something significant.
 
People see themselves as being pious or religious, but it is rebellious and prideful. Essentially Ahab and Peter are telling Me that they know better than I do in this situation. They think they are being respectful and staying in their “place” in our relationship, but in both cases, they are going against My Will in order to satisfy their own sense of position in relation to Me.
 
You see this today when you tell someone they did something really well and they say “It is all God” or when I ask someone what they want and they say “I only want what You want Lord” or when we talk about the desires of one’s heart (Psalm 37:4) and they say “God put the desires into Me and so I am looking for what He desires”.
 
These all sound like wonderful, pious, and religious answers and, if they are said in truth then they are valid but when they are said because they are trying to make sure they remain in the lower position next to Me then they have missed the point.
 
2 Peter 5:6 “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you”
 
When I asked Ahab to ask Me for a sign – whatever he wanted he answered from a sense of “I could never do that – I am appalled that you asked” when he needed to humble himself and do what I asked so that I could exalt him.
 
When Peter said “you shall never wash my feet” and then later “Then, Lord…not only my feet, but my hands and my head as well!” (John 13:9 ESV) he is again trying to tell Jesus what to do out of a sense of pride or religion. At that moment it would have been better for him to simply humble himself and submit to what Jesus was doing. Instead, he brought all the attention in the room to himself and took it away from what Jesus was doing. Of course, I bring good out of all things and so I used the opportunity to deepen the lesson I was teaching.
 
If Peter had simply allowed Jesus to wash his feet he would have humbled himself and then I would have exalted him in that moment by washing his feet clean.
 
What I am getting at is this….when I ask you what you want…when I ask you what the desires of your heart are…when I use you to do something absolutely amazing and people want to share their enjoyment of what happened with you by praising you or thanking you for what you did…if you sense it was all Me – then say that. But if you sense it was a combination of us in unity, working together in a way that is amazingly satisfying for both of us then say, “thank you” and enjoy the moment with Me. They already knew I was deeply involved and that is why it was so special.
 
Do you see what is actually happening. When we share in what you want, when we both get to experience something that is meaningful to both of us then unity occurs, relationship between us is strengthened and beautiful things happen.
 
For example, when child sings and finds she really loves it she prays to me one day and says “I really enjoy singing and I think I have a pretty good voice, I would love to continue to do this all my life. Will you support this desire?” and I say “yes” and I give her a gift of singing that is greater than she would have experienced if she had not asked. Then, she spends years practicing, learning, and training and her voice improves. All the while, I support her as she takes lessons, I provide opportunities for her to sing before others so she can share her gift and experience the joy she has when she gets to share it with others and then, years later, she sings before a large audience at Carnegie Hall in New York City. The years of practice, the patience, the enjoyment, the love for the gift I have given her and My continued strengthening of her gift all come together in one night and her voice is like the voice of angels and the audience is enamored and they feel, for a moment, that they are hearing the songs of heaven.
 
After the performance people come up to her and tell her how amazing it was. She has a choice. She can put the attention all on Me and say “it is a gift God gave me, and I just get to use it” or she can thank them and express her gratitude for being able to perform and to share this amazing gift with them. She can stay in the moment she is in, in unity with Me in her spirit, and know that she just displayed Me so beautifully that her words do not need to back it up. Just as the heavens declare the glory of the Lord (Psalm 19:1), so do you when you shine My light into the world (Matthew 5:16) like she just did.
 
Of course, there are the people who need to pay more attention to the verse
 
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him…”
 
 If someone sings before a crowd and has a truly spiritual moment like I described above and they believe in their heart that they are responsible for all of it then it would be better for them to say “it was all God” because that is the way they need to humble themselves. They need to acknowledge Me in more detail in their life because their pride is leaning the opposite way but…this is not true of most of the people reading this. A person like this would not have gotten this far in the day’s writing because they would have believed they already knew everything I was saying and they would have skipped the rest.
 
So for you that are still reading…
 
I love when we get to share in our desires together in unity. I love when I ask you what you want, and you answer Me and I also am perfectly happy with the response “I really don’t know” if that is what is true. I also love the response “I simply want what You want” if that is honestly true and not based on pride, rebellion, or religious piety.
 
The unity in sharing our desires is where the deepest connection with My Will on earth as it is in heaven connect.

Joel 3:9 “Say to the nations far and wide; get ready for war! Call out your best warriors. Let all your fighting men advance for the attack.”
 
Einstein said you cannot simultaneously prepare for and prevent war. But I disagree. Preventing war means seeking peace and yet peace is not available if you appear weaker than your enemy – at least not until the lion and lamb lay down together (Isaiah 11:6)
 
The Kingdom of God is at hand and we have a very real enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10) We must be prepared to fight if we are to win peace.
 
How?
 
Put on My armor (Ephesians 6)
 
And love – fiercely. Love so fiercely that you will choose to bless someone even when they speak ill of you.
 
Love fiercely – not meaning you will go tell them what’s what but meaning you will love them even when they are doing wrong.
 
Don’t condone or support their actions.
Don’t give into temptation to join them or to judge.
Know right from wrong and fiercely love people and help them choose what is right to the moment they are ready.
Prior to that moment – speak blessings over them and not curses which make it harder to make the right choice. Pray for them daily, praying My power and might over them, knowing that when Jesus has the right to stone a woman for sinning, He chose not to. Instead, He saved her, forgave her, and told her not to go back and sin again. (John 8:1-11)
 
When His enemies hung Him on the cross, He blessed them and love them by asking God to forgive them (Luke 23:34).
 
Put on your full armor, beef up your defenses, make sure you know all the tactics of the enemy, and have countermeasures planned and ready to go and then launch a full-scale attack with love, kindness, and blessing and see what happens.
 
Your fight is not against flesh and blood but against principalities (Ephesians 6:12). Go to your spiritual weapons and use them against your true enemy. The love of God, forgiveness, and blessing are some of the most powerful weapons.
 
Stand up for what is good and right and true, and fight for it with these powerful weapons!
 
And always remember
 
Isaiah 52:10 NLT “The LORD has demonstrated His holy power before the eyes of all the nations. All the ends of the earth will see the victory of our God.”

​Romans 9:4 NLT “They are the people of Isreal, chosen to be God’s adopted children. God revealed His glory to them. He made covenants with them and gave them His law. He gave them the privilege of worshipping Him and receiving His wonderful promises.”
 
Yesterday you got a taste of what it means for My power to work within you. There is an entire book coming on this topic very soon. Watch for it because it is what many have been looking and asking for.
 
Today I want you to go back to your statement from yesterday.
 
1.Read your first statement again – the one that started with “I feel powerless to____” out loud if you are able.
2.Read the verse from yesterday and take a moment to experience, feel or be surrounded outside and from within with My power in you.
 
Ephesians 3:20 ESV “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all we ask or thing, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church an in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.”
 
3.Read your revised statement even if you don’t feel the power flowing yet. This statement begins with “With God, I am powerful to ______”
4.Now spend a moment worshipping Me. Put on a worship song or dance to My glory or say praises to Me or let go of your own tongue’s language and speak in My heavenly language for you., ore read your favorite Psalm, sing your favorite hymn…or however you like to worship.
 
This is how you receive this verse.
This is how you receive My wonderful promises.

​Ephesians 3:20 ESV “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church an in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.”
 
Notice a few key words are underlined in the verse above:
1.All
2.Power within us
 
Do you feel powerless in a specific situation?
Do you recognize that the power for abundance in all situations lives within you?
What do you think about that?
Power….within!
 
Consider for a moment a situation within which you feel powerless. Speak it out or write it down. Be specific – what specifically feels powerless to you? Keep revising it until it really hits the nail on the head. Write it out as “I feel powerless to _________________”
 
Don’t move on to the next step until you have done this – even if it takes some time!
 
When you are ready – now – if you are ready – in 2 days, if that is when you are ready…read on…
 
Notice the first few words of this verse…”To Him who is able” and the words “to Him be the glory”
 
Take a moment and think, imagine, or feel the connection between:

• Him who is able and wants to…. – God
• Power at work within us – Holy Spirit
• Glory in Christ Jesus – Jesus
• You – My Beloved

 
Experience the power building, focusing, or circling.
Stay here for a moment until you feel that the trinity is right here with you, building power around you and potentially in you.
 
Let go of doubts, religious beliefs and platitudes, false beliefs, and anything getting in the way. They will try to surface here and detract from the power that I Am!
 
I am a powerful God
                So powerful I created the world in six days
                                And raised Jesus (and others) from the dead
                                                Healed sick people
                                                                Gave sight
                                                                                Conquered all sin and death
 
I am not a wimpy God.
I am a powerful God and I work within you!
 
Let go of any doubts or views about Me that contradict this. All the Bible verses going through your mind right now remain true and fit with what we are doing now – you will see this more clearly in a moment.
 
Release objections, questions, and concerns and put them to the side for this moment. Experience Me as a powerful God.
                Nothing is too hard for m (Jeremiah 32:27)
 
If it helps – repeat over and over:
 
“God IS powerful”
“God’s power works within me”
“God is powerful”
“Nothing is impossible with God” (Luke 1:37)
 
Now, repeat the statement you said or wrote and change the word powerless to powerful. Then change the wording to “With God, I AM powerful to _______”
 
Let this statement permeate your existence and your identity in Me!
If anything gets in the way – ask Me to remove, heal, or help you move beyond it and then say the statement above again.

Do you feel the winds of change coming?

Stop looking to the news as a temperature gauge.
It gives the facts of what has happened but doesn’t point to what will happen.
Your spirit can much better read what will happen.
Because I am the only one who knows and My spirit speaks to your spirit…every day…all day…

​Psalm 4:1,9 NLT “Answer me when I call to you, O God who declares me innocent. Free me from my troubles. Have mercy on me and hear my prayer…You alone, O LORD, will keep me safe.”
 
David is very direct here. He demands from Me what I have promised My people. David states that he is innocent and he does this from a place of complete faith because Jesus has not yet been born, died for David's sins, and been resurrected. He demands, then asks for My mercy, then praises Me, showing a wide range of understanding of who I am.
 
Do not choose darkness when light is available. Do not choose to believe evil when goodness stands before you (John 3:19)
 
Know My promises and stand boldly upon them, demanding them from Me because you know that when I make a promise I cannot lie (Numbers 23:19). Then acknowledge that you are due the promises because I have made you innocent through Jesus. Then praise Me for what I have done and will do for you.
 
I am your God. I am a very good God, and I have promised you great and mighty things, call to Me for them (Jeremiah 33:3). Come boldly before My throne (Hebrews 4:16). Ask for what I have promised you. If you don’t know what I have promised you, search the Bible for My general promises and then seek out My prophets / wise counselors / messengers for specific promises for you.
 
I love sharing the plans I have for you (Jeremiah 29:11) and I tend to do it through mysteries, parables, and puzzles because the human mind is designed to enjoy figuring things out (Proverbs 25:2)
 
Rejoice that I am your God (Philippians 4:4) and trust in Me over your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5) and know the best thing of all…your name is written in heaven (Luke 10:20)
 
Come to Me when you are weary and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28). When the mysteries and puzzles become too much for you, simply ask and I will give a clue or make them plain. Most of all, spend time with Me. We have so much fun together.

​Habakkuk 2:15 MSG “Who do you think you are – inviting your neighbors to your drunken parties, Giving them too much to drink, roping them into your sexual orgies?”
 
When you consider what it means to love your neighbor, yourself, your enemies and Me, do you consider that when you provide something unhealthy for someone else it is not loving? This is potentially a sign of the poverty spirit, which tells you that there is not enough to go around for everyone so you need to encourage others to be less than you so that you will have enough. The poverty spirit is also the one that wants you to offer things to friends and neighbors that you are doing, even though you know it is not good for you, because it justifies your behavior and makes you feel better.
 
Example?
 
Stop doing something that you know is not good for you like quitting smoking, not eating sugar, cutting out caffeine. Tell all the people around you that you are doing this and then notice the people who start offering you the very thing you decided to stop doing. You will discover that your desire to improve yourself will often times convict others of things they do not want in their life and, rather than making the choice themselves, they will try to justify it by getting you to not stop, then they don’t have to feel guilty about it.
 
That is what this verse is all about.
 
If you know someone who struggles with drinking too much or is overweight and struggling to be healthy, do not invite them over for drinks or to have a decadent meal or desert. Instead, whether they ask you to or not, create a healthy environment for them. Make it easier on them.
 
If you have children, don’t make it easy on them to make bad choices. Of course, they have to have the self-control to make good choices, but you don’t have to make it easy. Don’t have alcohol around for them to drink in excess, don’t be the “cool” parent who allows them to smoke around you and certainly don’t give them free reign of the house when they have a friend over who they are attracted to. You cannot stop all of their behaviors, but you can certainly influence them.
 
But take this to your friends and neighbors also. Be loving to them. Fight the desire to gossip – it brings out the worst in both of you. If the conversation turns to complaining or negativity then change the subject or, if that isn’t possible, walk away from it. If you really want to be bold, say a blessing over whatever they are talking negatively about by saying something you like about that person or institution.
 
Your tongue is powerful! (Proverbs 18:21) Use it to bless and not to curse. Choose life and not death not only for you but for those around you. Learn enough about your friends, neighbors and family to know what they are trying to grow in their lives and then do little things to support them in this. If they are trying to read more, set up a time to come over and read together or invite them to a book club. If they are trying to challenge their brain, find brain challenges that you can do together or share in.
 
Choose life for yourself and for the people around you and it will break the power of the spirit of poverty – which tells you that you have to take care of yourself because you don’t have the energy to take care of anyone else…but you actually find energy by taking care of other people unless you take it to the extreme. (You can also bind the poverty spirit in Jesus’ name and tell it to leave and then invite generosity and the Spirit of Adoption (Romans 8:15) into its place. (The spirit of poverty often pals around with the orphan spirit, and the religious spirit so bind them all in Jesus name and send them all away together and then fill the space with the Spirit of Adoption, the Holy Spirit and His fruits and you will feel much better!)

​Psalm 18:20 NLT “The LORD rewarded me for doing right; He restored me because of my innocence.”
 
Do you ever eel like you do the right thing and either no one notices or you get ridiculed or even “downgraded” because of it?
 
It is a common thing in this broken world and I know that, but I am the One truly rewarding you. I am the One restoring you because you chose a road of innocence rather than the “knowledge of good and evil” (Genesis 2:17).
 
In the Garden I placed the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:9) which leads to death (Genesis 2:17) so I am putting life and death next to each other for you to choose.
 
I also do this in Deuteronomy 28 where I place blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience next to each other, giving a choice of life and death. I make this really clear in
Deuteronomy 30:19 ESV “I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore, choose life, that you and your offspring may live,”
 
And I reiterate how to make this choice…
 
Deuteronomy 20:20 NLT “You can make this choice by loving the LORD your God, obeying Him, and committing yourself firmly to Him.”
 
When you choose to do right, you obey Me, you demonstrate your love for Me and it invokes these blessings. Keep doing right and the blessings begin to compound upon each other and eventually blessings overtake you. Do not be discouraged. Keep doing what is right, continue in innocence and experience the goodness of Me.  
 
I am not a stickler for obedience because of My ego or because I am on a power trip, I am simply stating a fact…when you abide by the laws this world was founded on, you discover that things work better. When you work within the boundaries of gravity, you fall down a lot less. When you work within the laws this world was created upon 9the most important being love) you discover that you fall down less in life. It really is that simple.
 
Of course, I am talking about true love – not love tainted by sin, which is why it’s important to start by loving Me first so you can experience true love first and then you can move on to loving yourself, your neighbor, and your enemies (Mark 12:30-31, Matthew 5:44).
 
Which brings about the fullness of My blessing.

​John 3:19 ESV “And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.”
 
So many people say they cannot believe in Me because I created hell or allow poverty, but they do not take themselves into consideration. I’ve talked about this before and will talk about it again because it is a very important point.
 
Free will is essential to this world and My Kingdom. Without it I may not have even created the world because it would have been a world devoid of love. How can you love someone if you have no choice? Why would I ever create a world where love is not possible? Now that would be a good reason not to believe in Me because I would have created hell and everyone would have been stuck in it for all eternity. Then I would have deserved the comments that I am not a good God because I would have been responsible for creating hell.
 
But this isn’t what I have done.
 
I created beauty, love, joy… I sent Jesus to ensure no one will ever have to experience hell. He ensures that poverty is no longer necessary and that life everlasting in the abundant love of the Kingdom is possible…
 
All you have to do Is believe in Him.
 
It really isn’t that hard!
 
Even if you aren’t sure, give it a try for a while and see how life changes and then your belief will be confirmed.
 
But please, don’t blame Me for what I have not caused!
 
I don’t want a single person to experience sin, darkness, or hell (2 Peter 3:9) but I have to let people choose. Believe Me when I say that everyone in the entire world has heard of Jesus in one way or another. All have heard of Him repeatedly and there isn’t a single person who I have not set out a personalized and unique message to welcome them into the kingdom by simply believing in Jesus
 
Jesus has come into this world. He is light and light holds together the entire universe. It is everywhere – available every day to everyone. If one chooses the darkness, I have to honor that or else I would be a terrible God, but as it is, that is not the case.
 
Come closer to the light! It will make it easier to see!

​John 8:9 NLT “When the accusers heard this, they slipped away one by one, beginning with the oldest, until only Jesus was left in the middle of the crowd with the woman.”
 
The woman was in a powerless position and fully believed she was about to be stoned to death – surrounded by accusations, threats, and judgement. She was terrified and actively regretting many decisions she had made that led up to this moment. Her life was replaying before her eyes and she saw many different things like her father not standing up for her to guard her innocence, and her mother, also not valued, telling her that when a man showed interest in her it was something to place her value on.
 
Then she looked at Jesus.
 
And saw a man who truly cared about her. He took the place of her father and mother in that moment. He defended her, reversed the consequences of her poor decisions, showed her that her value was significant to Him even though she had nothing to offer Him. He didn’t want anything from her…He wanted her to see herself through His eyes and with His compassion. He wanted her identity for the rest of her life to be that Jesus loved her so much that He defended her before the men who had the authority to kill her for her actions. He wanted her identity for the rest of her life to be solidly centered upon Him.
 
He erased her sin, judgement, and condemnation in that moment.
 
Undid all of the damage done by her parents who were also broken people doing what they knew to do. And in that moment “only Jesus was left in the middle of the crowd”. He was all that mattered in that moment, and He handed life back to her. She was healed from the past…all of it washed away, and so, as the One with the power to accuse her, He says:
 
John 8:11 NLT “Go and sin no more.”
 
Prior to that moment she could not have obeyed My command not to sin. She was too broken and hurt by the beliefs given to her by other people. But when Jesus healed these beliefs in that powerful moment and restored her life…she was able to see her value in a new light and could experience the abundant life Jesus promised (John 10:10).

​Amos 6:14 MSG “’I’ve got a pagan army on the move for you’ – this is your God speaking, God-of-the-Angel-Armies – and they’ll make hash of you, from one end of the country to the other.”
 
I am so glad you are here reading this, because it means it does not apply to you. You are My faithful ones who read this and I ask you to remain strong in Me. This verse coincides with:
 
Psalm 91:7 NLT “Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you.”
 
I don’t require another nation to come in to conquer those who misuse power and ignore justice – the enemy is attacking from within. Look around you and see the life draining out of those surrounding you who do not know Me. They are getting more frustrated, more angry, more fearful. Anything goes for them, and they find no comfort in the simple, loving boundaries I have set for them…and life drains out because life is about My Spirit living within My people, My image bearers.
 
Yes, pray for those around you because your prayers are powerful and they help keep your heart soft. Bless those who come against you and all you believe in (Luke 6:28) because it strengthens your spirit.
 
The plague has entered every country so there is no need for a physical invasion, but you feel it around you…and yet your life is filled with Me. Trust Me and know Me as your protector. Stay close to Me and know that I am God and there is no other like Me. You’ve come to the right place.
 
Don’t worry if loved ones don’t know Me yet. Often the “infiltrating armies” are just what they need to help them realize they are under attack and begin fighting. Pray for them. I am actively seeking them. Pray for their wills to align with Mine and bless them with the knowledge of Me and feel My peace come up on you as you recognize that I love them dearly – even more than you - and leave them in My hands. And for you…
 
Psalm 91:14-15 NLT “The Lord says, ‘I will rescue those who love Me. I will protect those who trust in My name. When they call on Me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them.”
 
You are My beloved. Stay close to Me.

This is the word of the Lord.
 
What I have spoken is true.
 
Nothing can prevent it. Not even a mighty mountain. Not even your questions or uncertainty. I will move everything out of the way of what will be. Our will’s will connect and align because the desires of our hearts will align powerfully and mountains will move and giants will fall and when I have put it all in place you will shout….

1 John 3:16 AMP “By this we know [and have come to understand the depth and essence of His precious] love: that He [willingly] laid down His life for us [because He loved us]. And we ought to lay down our lives for the believers.”
 
Ah, My dear children. To know My love is the greatest gift you can give Me. By knowing and receiving My gift of My Son’s sacrifice for you, you put yourself solidly in My kingdom, in My arms, in My refuge, and My strength (Ps 91:2) where I can take care of you, protect you, but also, enjoy you.
 
I truly enjoy the time we have together. I look forward to every moment we spend together both now and in eternity. By believing in Jesus and receiving His love, you bless Me with your presence now and forever and this is the greatest gift you can give Me by far.
 
Come to Me.
 
Dream dreams and take the risk of knowing what they are. They may feel impossible but with Me all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). I love giving good gifts (Matthew 7:11). Ask Me for what you want, and I will give it to you (1 John 5:15). My hope is it is more of Me, but, even if it is not, I will love giving it to you. You are My beloved and I adore you. I bless you today with true love and true life, everlasting.

​Philippians 2:19 NLT “If the Lord Jesus is willing, I hope to…”
 
Paul recognizes that his desires are very good and yet there is an overriding plan that he is part of, and he graciously submits to it.
 
There are many things going on in the world right now.
 
Many have prayed for over many, many years, led by My Spirit.
 
Many have been planned since the beginning of time.
 
You fit into this plan.
 
You, personally, uniquely, specifically, fit into this plan.
 
As you think about your plans and what you hope to do; it honors Me greatly if you simply put the current “If the Lord Jesus is willing…” onto the statement. It doesn’t have to be a huge ceremony, just a thought or a prayer, simply acknowledging there is something greater going on beyond your individual hopes that could influence the decision.
 
Your hopes are very important to Me, and they are highly factored into the plan, and I appreciate when you hold your hopes a little bit loosely for the times when Jesus wills something else…knowing that your true desire is for Jesus Himself. He is the ultimate hope, which is why, when you do not get what you hope for it is okay because you get Jesus’ hopes instead, which are deeply satisfying
 
Hope…hope big…and let Jesus’ willingness bring them to fruition – or something better.

​Genesis 29:3 “It was the custom there to wait for all the flocks to arrive before removing the stone and watering the animals. Afterward the stone would be placed back over the mouth of the well.”
 
Have you ever noticed this passage? A stone is rolled away so that water may flow.
 
When Jesus was resurrected, the stone was rolled away from the tomb, releasing the water that flows to water His flock.
 
John 7:37-39 ESV “On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’” Now this He said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
 
Have you been watered by the Spirit? Have you received His refreshment?
 
Many are weary and languishing from the deep need for the watering of the Spirit. Come to Jesus and He will show you the living water that will reenergize and sustain you.
 
I am taking away all that people have relied upon outside of Me. There is fear and concern because there is so much change right now and things don’t make sense, but they do make sense! I am returning My people to Me. Bringing you to the fountain of LIFE and rolling away the stone so that you may be watered.
 
There is nothing in this world that will ever take care of you. I will take care of you.
 
There is nothing in this world that will provide for you. I will provide for you.
 
There is nothing in this world that will bring you to life and give you the desires of your heart. I will.
 
There is nothing in this world that will provide all it says it will provide. I will.
 
You are not a human doing. You are a human being. Focus on who you are being and the doing part will fall in line. Really! You cannot justify yourself through work or money or retirement or anything else. You cannot justify yourself at all.
 
I made you in My image (Genesis 1:26). You are justified.
 
I knew you and chose you long ago, and My Spirit has made you holy (1 Peter 1:2)
 
I reconciled you to Me through Jesus death and resurrection and now you are in My Presence, holy and blameless as you stand here before me without any faults (Colossians 1:22
 
Please stop trying to justify yourself or your life. There is no need. I have already taken care of it. You are already valuable beyond words. Don’t believe the lies of the enemy telling you that you need to earn your righteousness or your worth. It is not true. You are righteous for My sake (Psalm 23:3). You are valuable because I made you. You don’t have to earn anything from Me or in this world.
 
Life will be much more enjoyable when you rest in this truth and allow My Spirit to flow through you like living water.
 
Let go of anything that hinders you from living this way. I will give you something better!
 
Don’t be afraid of suffering. When you are filled with My living water through My Spirit suffering is completely different and Jesus takes on all of your suffering.
 
Don’t be afraid. Believe you are invincible and life will be much more enjoyable. Believe also in Me. I will do great things in your life. Rest in My arms and let go of all of your worries. Stop waiting to live for that moment when everything has come together and makes sense. Live today. You have been blessed. Enjoy the blessing without always seeking more so that you will feel blessed. You have been blessed, you will continue to be blessed, and I will be with you every step of the way.
 
Make a change today and live this way.
 
I am with you, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). This is all you need to know.

Genesis 18:20 ESV “Then the LORD said, ‘Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great and their sin is very grave,’”

From Sherri…One moment before I started this Daily Message, right after reading a series of news articles, I stated ‘Oh Lord, this world is so ridiculous right now. Just as I said this I heard Him say “Genesis 18:20”. Prior to that, when I asked for a verse this morning, He was silent.
 
From God: Be careful not to predict what I will say about this verse! I may surprise you!
 
There is a time to destroy…I did that with Sodom and Gomorrah and in Noah’s time and with the Israelites over many years, in the hope that destroying evil would point to the goodness that is possible, but this time I am doing something very different. This time I am choosing to bless those least deserving hoping they will see My love and glory as a result.
 
So far the results are mixed.
 
Will you join Me?
 
When you find someone’s actions atrocious or despicable, will you “cry out” a blessing over them…to see My face…to experience My love and not be scared of Me?
 
You may not agree with them 1 little bit, but could you join Me in the experiment and speak a blessing over them.
 
As they are blessed, so too will you be!
 
Let’s give it a try all together and see what happens!

Encouraging you
 
Overflowing

​Psalm 119:25 NLT “I lie in the dust; revive Me by your word.”
 
My words created the universe
Created life itself
My words are life!
 
Does it feel like your life is lying in the dust? Is part (or all) of it feeling like it Is disintegrating rather than coming to life?
 
There is a simple answer! My words.
 
My words create life.
 
Come seek them through the Bible. Read Psalm 119 and see how My words, My law, My commands, My instructions bring life, delight, and peace.
 
Yes, this means that My laws and commands should be followed.
 
And it means that reading My word will enhance life.
 
And it explains why, when you seek My specific words, guidance, instruction, and encouragement and even My discipline your life comes alive, awakens, becomes clear, and your path is illuminated.
 
Psalm 119:105 “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
 
My words bring life
Seek them
 
How?
 
Revisit the Levels of seeking Me and My instruction from the October 30th Daily Message.
 
Put time, energy, and resources toward hearing Me and My words for you.
 
Your life will awaken in ways it simply has not previously.
 
My words awaken life.
 
Seek them
 
Seek Me
 
Seek My promises
 
Put something else on hold. Save up your resources and redirect them to what gives life. Spend actual time, energy, and resources on truly studying My word and gaining My specific instructions for your life!
 
Let My words encourage you and show you your path…and then follow Me, obey My words, let the disintegrating parts fall to the dust and cling to the life-giving words I give to you and experience life awakening, reviving, and My life coming alive in you.
 
Seek My words, My guidance, My instruction. Put it into practice!
And experience life more abundant than ever before (John 10:10)
