Psalm 32:8 NLT “The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.”
 
As you navigate this world, I am right here with you, guiding you, telling you which way to go (Isaiah 30:21) and I make it really clear for those who would like to know what I have to say. I know you more intimately than anyone else in the world. I imagined you, formed you (Psalm 139:13) and have intimate knowledge of every moment of your life. Who could be better suited to guide you along your path?
 
I know the universe and all that is in it, I know all that will happen, all that has happened…I know right where you fit in and on top of that, I know the desires of your heart.
 
Let Me guide you on your path without having to “force” you to go where we both want you to go as a horse or mule has to be forced. I am leading you to the absolutely best place you could ever imagine – why resist?
 
Open your self to My guidance.
 
Trust Me like you have never trusted before.
 
Listen to Me and hear Me and join Me on your path back to the Garden where we get to enjoy our days together doing all that you always wished you could do.
 
Come to Me, you are weary! Lay down all perceived needs and expectations and simply seek My path for you.
 
Young….old….anyone in between….it doesn’t matter. Just come to Me.

Written from the perspective of the Holy Spirit:
 
I am everywhere and in every situation. I am never not present. When you seek Me out I will be found (Jeremiah 29:13)
 
Come find your strength in Me.
 
Do you feel weak?
 
1 Chronicles 16:8 ESV “Give thanks to the LORD and proclaim His greatness. Let the whole world know what He has done!”
 
Are you exhausted from the news?
1 Chronicles 16:28 “O nations of the world, recognize the LORD, recognize that the LORD is glorious and strong.”
 
Do you wish others you love knew Me better?

• Be like the heavens and be glad (1 Chronicles 16:31)
• Or like the earth and rejoice (1 Chronicles 16:31)
• Or like the sea and everything in it. Shout His praise (1 Chronicles 16:32)
• Or like the fields and crops…bust out with joy (1 Chronicles 16:32)
• Or like the trees of the forest. Sing for joy before the LORD (1 Chronicles 16:33)

 
You cannot change anyone else’s behavior or bring them to the LORD but you can allow yourself to sing, praise, burst with joy, and be filled with peace!
 
Ask Me to fill you with Me.
Be baptized (or filled) in the fruits of the Holy Spirit and find yourself singing for joy in ways or words you never knew before.
    Just ask
        And let Me….
            You will find Me when you seek Me

​Ephesians 3:19 NLT “May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.”
 
Written from Jesus’ perspective:
 
Would you like to experience the fullness of life and power that comes from God?
 
Truly, I ask you that question, it is not rhetorical. Some people do actually want to say “no” because they are afraid of what it will mean for them. My love will transform you and your life into everything you have ever wanted. It will cause you to care about things you care about deeply. It will cause you not to care about things that are irrelevant or temporary.
 
This sounds amazing doesn’t it….and as it happens, people around you and even you, yourself, will question what you are doing. Have you gone mad? Have you lost your mind? How can you not center your life around all the things this world says are the most important things in the world?
 
And satan will chime in too….’You know He doesn’t actually love you. You are an obligation He is required to take care of because He created you and now, He has no choice.” Or “No one could ever really love you that much. Eventually He will discover who you really are and leave – and it is better not to let His love in now because imagine how much it will hurt when it disappears.” Or even “His love isn’t that important, and it certainly won’t bring life and power. No, put your focus back on getting what you need from this world – that is where life comes from….” And then he will tell you to seek the perfect spouse, job, child, vacation, place to live….etc.…and distract you from seeking what brings life and power….My love.
 
Take a moment if you will. Ponder this verse:
 
Ephesians 4:23 NLT “Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes.”
 
You’ve been trying to figure out life on your own for so long! Sit back, rest in My arms for a moment. Give the Holy Spirit permission to renew your thoughts and attitudes, and let My love flow into your mind, heart, soul and strength.

John 3:18 NLT “There is no judgement against anyone who believes in Him. But anyone who does not believe in Him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.”
 
In a time when there is a sense of “everything goes” and any opinions and emotions being valued sometimes more than truth, please pray to Me for sanity and critical thinking to return so that people can be in their right minds and find a loving Jesus as they walk through life.
 
Just because someone doesn’t want to believe in Jesus as My one and only Son, who is the only one who can truly give them life everlasting, does not change the fact that it is true.
 
Please don’t give up praying for your loved ones and the world of people who don’t want to believe in Him and lay their marginal lives down in exchange for the glorious life available to them. Pray for them and then, when you are talking to the, ask Me what to say and what not to say to “put a little salt” into the conversation. It will be different for EVERY SINGLE PERSON so that they will feel loved and appreciated and not judged or condemned.
 
It can be a delicate conversation and yet I always know what they need to hear and when. I know it can lead to contention and potential strife but that is a risk we need to take sometimes to help them hear truth, which is that their life will truly become life as they open their heart to Me.
 
I don’t even mind the “God, if You are there, please show me” or the “if You get me out of this situation I promise I will ______(fill in the blank)”. Those, at least, open their hearts and minds to the possibility of Me and I can work with that.
 
When you know someone who has tried everything else and nothing has worked, ask if you can pray with them to give Jesus a tiny opening to show them who He truly is, and what He can do for their life and situation. He only needs one little opening to help them see the light and find themselves out from under the weight of being judged for not believing in My Son. It doesn’t have to be an intense conversation. Just a “what do you have to lose” conversation. All I need is your boldness to help them take a tiny step toward Me.
 
Do you want to take a step closer to Me too? Invite Me in. I am knocking on your door also! (Revelation 3:21)

Leviticus 19:20 ESV “If a man lies sexually with a woman who is a slave, assigned to another man and not yet ransomed or given her freedom, a distinction shall be made. They shall not be put to death, because she was not free; “
 
I choose this verse today because so many people have a problem with similar verses, and I don’t want anything to come between us – not even a single Bible verse.
 
Look carefully at what I am and am not doing here.
 

• I am not saying slavery is a good thing. I am addressing something that existed due to there being sin in this world. Freedom is clearly important to Me.
  • I set My people free from Pharoah
  • I do not want My people to become hard hearted like Pharoah and put others in slavery, but I had to address this issue.
  • Galatians 5:10 ESV “For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.”
  • Ephesians 4:8 ESV “When He ascended on high He led a host of captives, and He gave gifts to men.” 
• I am not saying it is okay to lie sexually with someone who has no power to refuse. This is an abomination, yet I knew it would happen and I knew it needed to be addressed. Verses 21 and 22 clearly indicate that a sin was committed and needs to be atoned for. 
• I am addressing issues that I abhor because I allow free will for very good reasons and I need to protect the vulnerable. 
• I am protecting the woman from being put to death for something she had no real choice in because she was a slave. 
• I AM asking, as you read difficult verses in the bible, please don’t skim over them and wish they were not there! This puts distance between us because you are afraid to find out I am not the good God I say I am. Instead, look at them carefully and see what I am truly saying and what I am not saying in the verses.

 
Ask Me, I will show you or tell You.
 
Give Me the benefit of the doubt and know we can talk about anything, even if it is uncomfortable!

Isaiah 26:2 NLT “Open the gates to all who are righteous; allow the faithful to enter.”
 
The verse before this one is essential to understand and be safe when applying verse 26:2.
 
Isaiah 26:1 “Our city is strong! We are surrounded by the walls of God’s salvation.”
 
It is powerful to pray this for your city….to be s...urrounded by the walls of My salvation….to then open the gates to all who are righteous and faithful. To request that all who are not faithful and righteous be immediately transformed and if they truly do not want to be transformed to be righteous and faithful…to be asked to leave. As you pray this, you participate in the new heaven and the new earth and “building” the new Jerusalem (Revelation 21:1-2).
 
I know many people have ideas of how I will bring a new heaven and new earth and you may question what I am saying here but be careful, even the writer of this word, because, as you saw with the coming of Jesus which was clearly laid out in Scripture, if you fixate on what and how you think something will happen it can be easy to miss it.
 
Instead of focusing on the details of what and how – keep your eyes fixed on Me.
 
Isaiah 26:3 NLT “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You, all whose thoughts are fixed on you.”
 
….the author and perfector of your faith (Hebrews 12:2)…so that you may be ready. Keep the “oil” in your lamps full by reading My word and seeking Me (Matthew 25:1-13. The 5 wise virgins planned for a long wait before the arrival of the bridegroom. They had no idea how long it would be and so they prepared for any length of time. This is wise because, as I gather all of My children, I run into delays…resistant hearts, schemes of the enemy, non-obedient believers, fear of man rather than fear of Me…these are all delays.
 
But you, as you pray to seek Me and as you are obedient in what I ask of you, you hasten My arrival.
 
Isaiah 60:22 ESV “The least one shall become a clan, and the smallest one a mighty nation; I am the LORD; in its time I will hasten it.”
 
Become a mighty nation through your prayers and obedience and seeking Me.

​Luke 10:27 ESV “And He answered, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind. And your neighbor as yourself.”
 
As you navigate life you will have many, many questions and I am always here to help you find the answers you seek. Always.
 
Along the way you will run into the questions that have so much charge to them that it may be hard to hear or discern My answers or guidance. This usually means there is fear or trauma associated with the decision and the best way to handle these decisions or choices is to simply love – Me, yourself, and your neighbor. Why?
 
John 4:18 ESV “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear.”
 
It is impossible to be in a place of love and fear simultaneously. You can jockey between them, sometimes quickly, but you cannot hold space for both simultaneously.
 
By focusing on Me and loving Me with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, you overcome fear just as light overcomes darkness.
 
Once you focus on this love, you can return to the questions you have, and the answers will become much clearer.
 
It is in this way that you can overcome fear, anxiety, or racing thoughts.
 
Let go of what this world tells you that you should be and hold onto Me. I will guide you on your way. And your way with Me is so much greater than your way in this world.
 
For today – regardless of the enormity of urgency of the choices you make – start by loving Me with all that you have – and the rest will fall into place.
