Romans 8:22 ESV “For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now.”
 
Do you feel the pangs of childbirth increasing? This is common right before a woman has a baby, and it is an intense time. Many want to run away from it because it is so intense. Many want to have a pain block at that moment in time but the only way to get through it is to lean into it and know that it will end and the other side brings life that will change creation. A new life being added to this world always changes the dynamics of the world!
 
These pains of childbirth being felt right now are part of the birthing process of the new creation. The best way to handle them is to lean into it and know that the end is in sight and it brings a new life that you cannot yet imagine. I am not saying that the end of the world is coming within the next few contractions, but I am saying that it is coming soon. The primary message, however, is to lean in rather than trying to make the pain go away.
 
How do you do this?
 
Keep your eyes open for what is happening and do all that you can in order to bring the new creation to fruition. The best way to do this is to keep your eyes on Me and I will show you. Don’t stick your head in the sand but also don’t obsess about what you see happening. Neither one leads to life. Instead, keep your eyes on Me. Trust My promises. Pray. Rejoice in everything. And know that I am near. I am so very near to you. Do you feel Me there with you right now? I am there with you.
 
As you read the news and hear what is happening, do not be dismayed and do not be anxious. Instead, remember Philippians 4:4-7 and do what is outlined there:

1. Rejoice
2. Be reasonable and let it show
3. Know that I am here – so you don’t need to be anxious about anything
4. Pray, deeply, with thanksgiving
5. Experience My peace that passes all understanding

 
Know that I love  you, I am not going anywhere, and I want what is best for you AND that I promise to take care of you. Don’t look to other people’s situations to figure out yours (John 21:22)

Jeremiah 29:11 ESV “Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon gave command concerning Jeremiah through Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, saying,”
 
This verse highlights 2 really important matters in the Kingdom:

1. As King – I command
2. As King – I take care of my people, in this case My very important prophet.

I give this example through king Nebuchadnezzar but each king I appoint is intended to represent Me. Some do it better than others, some do it very poorly because they do not pay any attention to Me and believe that when I put them in their position, they get to do whatever they want and they forget that I am their King.
 
Do not make this mistake in your life.
 
I am a loving and incredibly supportive God who gave you free will on purpose, because I want you to make a choice to know Me, to follow Me, and to obey Me but it does not change the fact that I am the God in the Bible that I speak of in Job 38-41. Please know that I want you to approach My throne with confidence (Hebrews 4:16)– you are My children, and I want you to come to Me with everything. Balance this with real knowledge and understanding of the power that I Am and know that
 
Proverbs 9:10 ESV “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom”
 
As King, I give commands. You are the “captain of the guard” as is mentioned in this verse. I want to be able to give you commands and I want you to follow through on them knowing that I have power to enforce my authority. I don’t use this the way a king on earth does. I am much more loving, and I have given you the completeness of your free will, however, when you do as you are asked it goes well for you and for the Kingdom.
 
Recognize that, at the same time, I am giving commands to other people regarding you. I gave commands regarding Jeremiah here through Nebuchadnezzar. If you read in the next verse, you will see that I am remedying the incredibly disrespectful way they treated Jeremiah, and he is being raised to the level of respect he deserved. I say (through Nebuchadnezzar)
 
Jeremiah 39:12 ESV “Take him, look after him well, and do not let any harm come to him; do for him whatever he says.”
 
If they had listened to Jeremiah in the first place they could have avoided so much pain and suffering and they would not have added to their list of sins that they mistreated My chosen prophet.
 
Do this in your life, please! I am right here, letting you know which way to go and what is to come (Isaiah 30:21, Isaiah 42:9). Listening to, and following Me, is not as hard as people think it is. I am here to guide and help every step of the way. But remember My underlying goals may be different from yours and that may make it more difficult to hear. Align your goals with Mine and it becomes more simple.
 
My goal, to bring My children home to Me for all eternity.
 
Your goals often have more to do with the details of life, wanting to be safe, comfortable and cared for. These are all important! But they come from following Me, loving Me, and knowing Me and I take care of them along the way.
 
When you want guidance on the specifics of a job, a calling, a relationship, etc. start by switching your perspective, which is naturally from earth to heaven and needs to be from heaven to earth. This paradigm shift will help the decision become more clear.
 
In all things though, the most important thing you can do is to love Me with all your heart, soul, mind and strength (Mark 12:30). Everything else will flow from there! I promise!

Isaiah 29:3 NLT “I will be your enemy, surrounding Jerusalem and attacking its walls. I will build siege towers and destroy it.”
 
What are the things in your life that are getting in the way of our relationship and of the incredibly abundant life that I have promised?
 
I will be their enemy, attacking its “walls” and I will do all that I can to destroy it.
 
So many people experience really hard things in their life and as they can see more clearly, they say it is the hardest and worst thing that ever happened to them and also the best. This is Me working. I don’t always work this way. I don’t always attack. I start with a still small voice and then it moves from there, but I am relentless at reaching My children and bringing them home to Me.
 
Know this is true for you also. If you feel like I am attacking you with something terrible consider this…is there any chance that it is something that is not good for you and is limiting your life and the abundance (John 10:10) I want for you? If so, let’s partner together in getting rid of it and then I will not have to do something so challenging to destroy it.
 
Yes, there are times that you can see this in the Bible also. Hardship, difficulty, pain, suffering. Some of it stems from sin, some of it stems from holding onto what is getting in the way of your life, and some of it is satan. Discerning which it is can help you figure out what to do with it.
 
If it is Me – lean in and find out what I am trying to tell you and give Me permission to remove anything that harms you. Let Me change the trajectory of your life. Ask people who hear Me well to help you figure out what I am saying. Often these things have been around for so long that it is hard to see them on your own and you will need help. This is where the church can help but it can also do a lot of damage if it is also broken and holding onto things that are not good for it so choose your advisors and counselors wisely. I will show you the way. You don’t have to be stuck or paralyzed by having to choose wisely, but you do need to know that many people in the church say really hurtful things because they don’t really know Me very well and they refuse to listen to Me also. Be careful.
 
If it is sin – ask Me to help you not sin and then let’s work on where the sin comes from. What is at the root of it? What is preventing it from leaving? Again, it can be helpful to find someone who hears Me well and who can speak with truth and love to help you discover what I am telling you and to reveal how I want you to let go of the sin. It brings great healing and recovery from all that has held you back. Yes, it can be hard. Sinning usually requires asking for forgiveness but also forgiving those who purposefully or inadvertently caused the root issues that led to the sin. It can be hard work, but it is very rewarding and worth doing. Seek out trusted, truthful, and loving advisors and forgive them when they also make mistakes as they are human too.
 
If it is satan – rebuke him and bind him and send him away to Me to deal with. Fill the “space” with something good like the Holy Spirit or joy, or love. Often the opposite of what just left is a good thing to fill space with. If you are dealing with a spirit of slavery, then bind it in the name of Jesus Christ (and with His power and authority that defeated all sin and death at the cross), send it to Jesus to deal with and then fill the “space” with the Spirit of Adoption (as sons by whom you cry Abba Father (Romans 8:15)).
 
A couple of other quick tricks and tips:

1. Thank Me for everything…even the bad stuff (1 Thessalonians 5:18). It is not because you like what is happening or what is happening is good, it is out of obedience. I tell you to thank Me for everything because it shifts the situation completely and show how much you trust Me to bring something good out of every single situation (Romans 8:28). Again, this is hard to do but it releases you from bad things enveloping you in the bad and opens it up for good things to come from it.
2. Forgiveness – this is a powerful thing. Think of the person who is the absolute hardest to forgive – someone who it is almost unthinkable to forgive – and then ask Me to help you forgive them. You don’t have to walk this path alone. Forgiveness does not mean that you put them in harm’s way with them again, that you trust them before they earn your trust again, or that what they did was acceptable. It simply means that you no longer want to carry the burden of what happened and what it has become within you. You want to hand it over to Me and let Me take care of it instead of holding onto it yourself. Forgiveness often opens up your eyesight so that you can see so much more clearly what happened and what caused the sin they did against you. This is also healing and yet, I know it is not something you can do on your own or quickly so come to Me and I will help.
3. If something isn’t good, I am not done with it yet. Know this and live your life from it and it will transform many things.
4. I have sent many people into the world right now who hear Me very well. They are marked with truth and compassion. They are people you can talk to and who can listen. They are people who clearly are connected to Me in a special and unique way. They cannot not seek Me out and they cannot not follow Me even though it is a very challenging and difficult path for them because they see the world so differently. Seek out these people and listen to them. Ask them for help hearing Me and ask them to use their gifts to help you heal. And be generous back to them as they share with you their giftings that have probably cost them a great deal, be generous with them in whatever way that you can. Just because I command them to freely give as it was given freely to them, this does not mean that you should take advantage of their generosity. Find out what they need and give it to them. Pass on the generosity from the years and years and decades of putting their own lives on hold in order to train to hear Me clearly so that they can truly change the world with Me. Find them and hold onto them. They are extremely valuable in this world and then…if you are so called…become one of them (1 Corinthians 14:1)

There is so much more to be said on this subject but that is enough for right now. Please know that I bring hardship sometimes in order to bring true and abundant life. It is not My first choice. I gave the Israelites so many opportunities to turn back to Me before implementing the verse of today….but eventually, when they became My “enemy” because of the things they did, I went up against them and destroyed the very things taking them away from Me so that they could come back into My protection and provision. This is what I am doing with you also.

​Matthew 11:28 ESV “Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
 
Today’s Daily Message starts with me sharing and then moves into what I believe God shared…
 
Sherri: Last night I had a dream where someone gave me a Bible verse I had never heard before and when they handed me the slip of paper it was written on the name of the book was Jesus and the chapter and verse was 11:28. I remember thinking how incredible it is that Jesus wrote a book Himself. As I woke up, I believe God said:
 
“Yes, the Bible is the book Jesus wrote, it just happened to be written through people’s hands and effort. A taste of this person who wrote the words down for Me comes through each book just like a taste of you comes through these Daily Messages and a taste of Me comes through other prophets I have sent into the world for such a time as this (Esther 4:14).
 
I love that about the Bible. It is a beautiful example of Me and My children coming together in perfect unity to create something meaningful, long lasting, uplifting, truthful, and practical all at the same time. Then add the Holy Spirit into the mix and you take a manuscript written so long ago and keep it alive and relevant for all these years because He sits there with each person as they read it, whispering in their ear “this is the what I meant when I wrote this, and this is what you needed to hear for your own life to make sense, and to find the abundant life I promised (John 10:10)
 
My children, My dear children, do not be afraid, not of anything. Rest in Me, My arms, My provision, My love. I know you wonder about many things; what will happen and their outcome, but there is no need for that because I am here with you.
 
I am here with you each and every day.
 
Ask Me for the little things and the big things. Ask Me for what you think you want even if you don’t think I want it for you. We can talk about it and work it out. Ask Me for what you want for others. Generosity comes through prayers for others also. I Am love and so I love when you come to Me. Lay down all that weighs you down and rest in Me even as you work hard and play hard.
 
I love you so much and all I want is a relationship with you.
 
Everything else falls into place from that. I promise you. And I take My promises very seriously.”

Genesis 19:20 NLT “See, there is a small village nearby. Please let me go there instead; don’t you see how small it is? Then my life will be saved.”
 
The context of this verse is that Abraham has brought Lot with him as he obeyed My directions. Lot is in the Sodom and Gomorrah region which is about to be destroyed. My angel tells him to go to the mountain, but he is scared so I grant his request to go to a small village instead. I say yes and the village is saved but then Job is afraid of the people there and leaves and goes up to the mountains anyway.
 
I honor many of your requests for many reasons and adjust My plans accordingly.
 
Do you believe that?
 
But it does not alter My ultimate plan for you. Lot still ended up in the mountains where he was asked to go originally but fear is guiding him rather than Me.
 
Take a moment if you will and see how this story shows a choice in your heart….Abraham is obeying Me and lives a powerful life, being led by Me all the way. We work through some difficulties because of His choices like acting like his wife is his sister (Genesis 20:2) which is also out of fear of the people. But he is obedient. He follows Me.
 
Lot is along for the ride, living off of Abraham’s faith rather than his own and being led by fear instead of faith and it ends badly for him.
 
Are you afraid? Are you afraid of people? Are you afraid of the destiny I have available to you?
 
I do adjust My plans for you because of your requests.
 
But I would love for you to be led by faith rather than fear.
 
Who are you afraid of?
 
I will take care of you.
 
What are you afraid of?
 
I will take care of you.
 
What do you want from life that is bigger and more adventurous than you can imagine actually happening?
 
Go for it!
 
What I am asking of you stirs your heart and makes you come alive.
 
Don’t be afraid. Follow Me instead and look where this led for Abraham. He became the father of an entire nation!
 
Jeremiah 32:27 ESV ““Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?”
 
What are you afraid of? Who are you afraid of? Fear and trust Me more and let’s go on the adventure of a lifetime together. Nothing is impossible for Me!  
 
Prayer:
This stirs my spirit and my heart Lord. I want to be adventurous with you, trusting You fully along the way, knowing You do the impossible with me!

Colossians 1:16 NLT “for through Him (Christ) God created everything in the heavenly realm and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see – such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through Him and for Him.”
 
The verses preceding and following this are also powerful if you want to explore more (15-22) and I am powerfully in them all, but this one shows a mystery of the Kingdom that is good to mediate on and consider deeply…
 
“Everything was created through Christ and for Christ.”
 
You were created for Christ.
 
He created you.
 
Let that sink in for a moment or two….
 
You weren’t created for the purpose of doing something specific or accomplishing something for the Kingdom. When you read the last few chapters of Job (38-41) it is easy to see that there is very little I need from you and very little you can do for Me. Your purpose does not lie in your doing. It lies in the truth that you were made for Jesus, through Jesus, and when you were drawn away from Him by sin, for the joy set before Him He endured the cross (Hebrews 12:2). You are the joy set before Him!
 
I was out of the joy of being reconciled to you that He was able to endure the cross…He thought of you during the pain just as a mother thinks of her baby during childbirth, and that helps her endure the pain.
 
All these things that tug on you every day – anxieties, worries, concerns, agendas, plans, even desires are all so irrelevant (even though they are important) when compared to simply existing in the knowledge that you were made for Christ.
 
Consider this approach for your busy day…
 
Hebrews 10:22 NLT “let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting Him.”
 
Today is a day of being in Him and with Him and experiencing the fullness of My presence as a result. My presence is what you seek most. When you strive to have something or accomplish something what you hope to experience or feel at that moment is My presence. That joy of accomplishment, the excitement of getting something you have hoped for over a long period of time is a foreshadowing of the joy you will experience for al eternity in My presence…I invite you into that presence now (Colossians 1:22) where you can experience the real thing rather than a lesser substitute.
 
Matthew 28:30 ESV “Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest…for My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Numbers 18:32 ESV “And you shall bear no sin by reason of it, when you have contributed the best of it. But you shall not profane the holy things of the people of Isreal, lest you die.”
 
This is another example, like yesterday’s message, of My working within challenging situations. In this case – in today’s world, not the world I was speaking to at the time of this writing. What is important here is this…I love you so much that I will make adjustments in My desires and My ways so that I can continue to pursue you as My own.
 
I love you so much that I make allowances and adjustments every single day for all the things that ultimately conflict with My ways and My laws. I love you so much that I focus on you – in the fullness of who you are to Me – and I find workarounds for everything else.
 
But please know this, eventually there is a limit…not because My love is limited or I am unable to reach you beyond your choices and sins, but because I love everyone in this world so much that the only real choice I have is to honor your wishes and your free will. Therefore, if you truly desire to consistently do things that profane what is holy, then it will eventually lead to your spiritual death and then your physical death will eventually follow.
 
This is a hard teaching and does not apply to many reading this because you really do love Me and try to follow Me but it helps to know that I understand you are doing the best you can within the world you live in.
 
Today’s verse highlights this.
 
You don’t bear sin because you receive something from someone or something that has gotten what they are giving you from sinful behavior. If you did, you could never accept a paycheck or eat any food because it is not 100% sin free.
 
But the key here is this… keep your heart devoted to Me and My ways. Tithe because it is a good thing for the Kingdom and your heart, even if sin entered into the money somewhere along the way.
 
Do not profane holy (Matthew 5:48) things because they lead to your death. Keep yourself holy, pure, and perfect.
 
Keep yourself holy, pure, and perfect in this world as far as it is possible within a place where you have on every activity attempting to steal, kill, and destroy your life (John 10:10) and lean into Colossians 1:22…it is Jesus who reconciled you to Me. As a result, you ARE holy and blameless before Me without a single fault…come stand before Me, in My presence, shedding the cloak of sin and death to Jesus as you enter My presence and bask in My love and glory. This is the Holy “thing” of the people of Isreal. I AM. So much else fades away when you stand in the presence of the I AM.
 
Come and see (John 1:39)
