I believe this is a message to us from God, written from His perspective – Sherri ​

Mark 7:21 ESV “For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery….”

Why would I bring this verse up in an encouraging daily message from Me? Many teach that the heart of man is evil. That fighting human nature is a constant battle and that nothing good can come from humans. They emphasize Paul’s confession that he wasn’t able to do what he wanted and not do what he didn’t want to do. Many of old would hurt or harm their bodies by self-flogging.

Many churches focus on the sinful man and are constantly repenting and telling Me how terrible they are and how sinful they are. They do it because they believe self-deprecation demonstrates their need for Me and they believe it glorifies Me but as they continue doing this they start believing the are sinners, they are bad, they are their actions but haven’t you read the scriptures…

• There is now no condemnation for those in Christ (Romans 8:1).
• When you believe and submit your life to Christ you are a new creation in an instant! The old is gone, the new is here (2 Corinthians 5:17)
• Focus on what is good (Philippians 4:8)

It is essential to recognize your sin and your need for Christ’s bountiful gift so that you know to come to Jesus. It is essential to lay your life before Him and pick up His fife instead by receiving His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, My Spirit within you. And then it is best to leave the old behind and walk into the new.

Yes – you may need to make amends for past mistakes but that is simply a way of sharing with others that you are a new creature – that old person who wronged them is gone and as a new creation in Christ you can see the wrong you committed and you can lay it at their feet, having removed it from you because it no longer belongs and you can apologize and let it go and, hopefully, you can both walk away from it. I say that if you are going to the altar and I remind you of an offence that needs to be dealt with (Matthew 5:23-24) you must go handle it immediately. This means I will point out to you anything you need to deal with when it is time to let it go.

When you look for all the wrongs you committed in your old self you fix your eyes on yourself. When you fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and protector (Hebrews 12:2) and ask Him to point any incongruities between old and new (Psalm 139) you keep your attention where it is best and good comes from your heart.

Exodus 3:21 ESV “And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians and when you go you shall not go empty,”

What is a human being’s greatest fear?

Being empty!

Of food – hungry – so they eat more than necessary, hoard food, and create scarcity.

Of energy – tired – so they fill themselves with caffeine, energy drinks and energy supplements.

Of health – sick – so they go to doctors constantly and do everything the doctors say even though Jesus is the Great Physician and many doctors have very little training from Him and even fewer come to Him with their patients.

Of money – poor – so they strive, wok themselves to death (sometimes literally) hoard and pine for money all the time, thinking their bank account defines them or is where their help comes from.

Of life – death – so they avoid thoughts of dying and run away from the truth that everyone’s physical life comes to an end and aren’t prepared when it comes. They hold on to “life” physically as long as possible, on machines and extreme interventions to keep their bodies alive a little bit longer. But life, true life, has left and they are holding on to the very emptiness they wanted to avoid.

But look how generous I am. I give life (Genesis 2:22 & 1:7)

I promise great things (Exodus 3:17) and deliver it to those who trust in Me to fulfill My promises (Deuteronomy 11:31-32, Deuteronomy 28:1-2, Numbers 13:27-28).

I know that you feel the threat of emptiness at every turn and satan whispers it in your ears constantly. I know, deep inside, you know and remember you were formed from the dust and to dust you will return (Ecclesiastes 3:20) and I know you have a choice how to handle this. You can take control and fill yourself and your life with everything temporary (listed above) that doesn’t ever satisfy you or make you feel full or you can fill yourself with Me, eat and drink what I provide (Isaiah 55:1).

Ask Me for strength, trust Me to provide (Matthew 6:33) and most of all, be baptized in the baptism of water and of the Holy Spirit and be filled on a daily basis with the Holy Spirit, who is eternal and you will never be empty. See how I will provide. No one expected the Egyptians to give worldly goods to the slaves of Pharoah (the Israelites) but that is exactly what I caused to happen. What do you need to let go of that gives a sense of fullness but is really empty? Would you like to exchange it with Me for something better? Something eternally filling?

Matthew 11:28 “Come to Me all who are weary and I will give you…”

Prayer:
If your heart is stirred to let go of something but you know you can’t on your own – take a moment and ask Him to help or do it for you.

Genesis 14:20 ESV “And blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand!”
I have a few questions for you.

Please consider your answers and tell Me what you really thing. Not what you think I want to hear.

Can you do that?

1. Do you think I am blessed? What does this even mean to bless Me?
2. Do you believe I am God Most High? What does this even mean to you and your life?
3. Do you know that I deliver your enemies into your hand? What does that even look like in today’s world?

The answers to these questions tell a lot about your life and walk with Me!

1. You, yourself are a blessing to Me and I am blessed by your actions and choices that show your reliance, trust, and dependence upon Me. Abram knew I was with him in the battle, preceding this verse and he experienced, directly, that when something bad happens – like Lot being taken captive – I will bring good from it (Romans 8:28). Abram got his nephew back, defeated his enemies who were a threat to him and his livelihood, and gained all their possessions. He ended up better off. He recognized My hand in it all and expressed his gratitude and love to Me by his generosity to Melchizedek, and Melchizedek spoke the words that moved them both. Blessed be Abram, Blessed be God Most High. We are both blessed when we partner together to defeat the enemy.
2. If you believe I am God Most High, do you live your life this way or do you believe in a distant, wimpy God who isn’t really any higher than all the other gods you hear about? Am I really the God Most High to you or am I on equal footing with the world, universe, or other gods and even the enemy. Are we all the same – and you happened to choose Me because of your culture or upbringing or am I God Most High because that is truly who I am. What benefit can you and do you desire from believing in, loving, and following the God Most High? What advantages do you have in your life because of Me? Are there any or am I just a god to serve and pacify and you don’t really gain anything?
3. Do you see how I deliver your enemies into your hands? D you believe you are actually better off both now, in this world, and in all eternity or do you buy into the lie that this life is all about suffering and just getting through until you die. I give your enemies into your hands if you will go to the battles I send you to! I bless you greatly through the hard things done in obedience. But you have to trust Me in the lead up to the battle when facing the tragedy in the battle, by moving forward and you need to feel the exhilaration when you experience Me as God Most High. Be blessed, and bless Me?

Vindicate me, O Lord,
for I have walked in my integrity,
and I have trusted in the Lord without wavering.
Prove me, O Lord, and try me;
test my heart and my mind.
For your steadfast love is before my eyes,
and I walk in your faithfulness.
I do not sit with men of falsehood,
nor do I consort with hypocrites.
I hate the assembly of evildoers,
and I will not sit with the wicked.
I wash my hands in innocence
and go around your altar, O Lord,
proclaiming thanksgiving aloud,
and telling all your wondrous deeds.

nor my life with bloodthirsty men,

Psalm 119:7 ESV “I will praise You with an upright heart, when I learn Your righteous rules”

Have you ever considered what a gift My laws, commands, and precepts are? Have you considered how much freedom they provide?

• You clearly know what to do in order to experience eternal life with Me if that is what you want. Believe in Jesus (John 17:3).
• You clearly know what to do to experience an abundant life. Follow Me, receive My gift of My sacrifice for you, walk through the door that I AM and live life abundant (John 10:4, John 10:9, John 10:10).
• You clearly know what to do once you receive Me and My greatest gift to you possible – My Son reconnecting you back to light from darkness – love Me, love yourself, love your neighbor, love your enemy (Mark 12:30-31, Matthew 5:44).
• You clearly know who lives in you to make all of this possible when you don’t have the strength yourself – God’s Holy Spirit (1 Cor 3:16, Romans 8:11 and 8:26). And
• You clearly know what to expect when you receive the Holy Spirit as your helper (John 15:26). You will have the power that raised Jesus from the dead living in you (Romans 8:11). You will be guided in all truth (John 16:13) and you will experience the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
• You clearly know your vocation. Make disciples of all nations (Matt 28:19)
• And this will all be possible because I will give you a new heart (Ezekiel 36:26-27).

You have, clearly set out before you, all of My expectations, gifts, and instructions in the Bible. Sure, it takes some dedication to learn them and find them and live them, but it is all clearly laid out for you. Rejoice, praise Me with an upright heart and know what a gift it is to receive this amazingly well set out set of instructions, so you don’t have to guess or possibly make a mistake and miss out on an abundant, Spirit filled, eternal life with Me. Rejoice.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for such clarity. I rejoice in You and am so grateful for Your words, clearly set out for me. Please bring this powerfully into My day-to-day life so I can experience more of the life You have offered. Please help me turn away from anything that does not lead to life. Thank You Lord. I love You. Amen.

Romans 8:15 NLT “So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when He adopted you as His own children. Now we call Him, ‘Abba, Father.”

Think about what this truly means….you are adopted by Me the moment you ask Jesus into your life. You become His brother and My child. All the difficulties you had by being raised by imperfect, human, parents are negated and the sting of them is erased because they were no longer done by the people who should have loved you the most…you have become a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17) and you have now been raised by a perfect, heavenly Father and mother (Psalm 27:10). You have My looks, My genes, My health, and My potential within you.  I am more real in your upbringing than you ever imagined.

Take that in for a moment…..

All the events that happened to you that formed you are now overshadowed and redeemed by Me, meaning, they can be released and replaced with memories that are filled with love and support and everything you needed. This is a huge reason to rejoice! Your best memories are enhanced, and your worst memories are redeemed. What a beautiful gift.

But take it a step further….consider the advantages of being the son or daughter of the most powerful, wealthy, well connected Father ever to have exist. Really take that in for a moment. You have every advantage you could possibly have in this world – not because of what you have done or not done, but because you are My child and I am your Father.

Now, as you take that in ….consider your life. Are you taking advantage of your heritage by coming confidently before the throne to ask for what you need or desire (Hebrews 4:16)? Are you remaining in My protection where you are safer than anywhere else (Psalm 91)? Are you following the instructions from your Shepherd (Psalm 23)? Or are you rebelling against your Father like the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32)?

That is your part…now look at My perspective. I want to rais powerful, loving, generous children who will bring the fullness of My Kingdom to this world and I am very diligent to train up My children for this role (Proverbs 22:6). I discipline My children (Proverbs 3:11) and I bless them (2 Chronicles 16:9). As you interact with Me, asking Me for things, living your life, know that I am a perfect Father. I don’t make mistakes, and I am not distant. Yes, sin impacts your life – your sin and other people’s sin – but I always help you handle it with love and support with a goal of being in a deep, loving relationship with you and I always bring good from every situation (Romans 8:28). This does not mean that every situation is good, but it means I will bring good from every situation. As I teach you how to love Me, love yourself, love your neighbors, and love your enemies (Mark 12:30-31, Matthew 5:44) I want you to bring this to the world because the more people who live this way, the more heaven is experienced on earth.

As you look at what is happening in your life, draw near to Me as your good Father, desiring to teach you and raise you into the very person that I am. I know this sounds crazy but I want you to be like Jesus (John 14:12) and I want you to do what you see Me doing and say what you hear Me say (John 5:19, John 12:49) so that you may be perfect (complete, mature, full-grown) as I am perfect (Matthew 5:48).
Do not concern yourself with hardship, wondering what you’ve done wrong. If you’ve done wrong…own it, ask forgiveness, handle the consequences and let’s move on. If it has been caused by another, through the power of the My Spirit, not the human spirit, pray for this person, ask Jesus to heal and remedy it and leave it to Him, then bless them (because as they are blessed, you actually benefit) and with My help, love them (Matthew 5:44). I know it feels impossible, but this is the path to freedom from being a slave (today’s verse) and I do the impossible (Matthew 19:26).

Do not try to love from your own love. Receive Mine to overflowing and then share it with others.

You are My beloved child!
​
Stop seeing this as a disadvantage in this world and start seeing it as the greatest blessing possible here on earth. You have advantages that non-believers only dream of. As soon as they are open to it, share Me with them so they can be advantaged too but in the meantime, enjoy your advantages and live a life fully in connection with Me, your heavenly Father!

Psalm 20:7-8 ESV “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord or God. They collapse and fall, but we rise and stand upright.”

My dear beloved. What does it mean to trust in the name of the Lord your God?

It means you trust in the fullness of the identity of Me. When you say someone’s name you refer to the whole person of who they are. You know attributes of them, their likes and dislikes, and everything you currently know about that person is fully encapsulated in their name.

When you trust in My name it means you are trusting in the fullness of who I am, all My attributes and everything you know to be true about Me.

The world is changing rapidly right now.

It is important not to put your trust in “horses or chariots” right now because something may change and they will no longer be there. You can trust in My thought.

Don’t trust in the watered-down version of Me being taught in affluent communities who trust in horses and chariots.

Instead, trust in who I say I am.

Don’t let anyone take away the power I have given to you and the power of the church. I am the same now as I have ever been (Hebrews 13:8, Revelation 22:13). So, all you read in the bible about Me is true then and now. Don’t believe the people who tell you My gifts have ceased at a certain time. They are untrustworthy and unreliable and as bad as false prophets or the anti-Christ because they are not trusting in the name of the Lord God. They are trusting in what they feel comfortable with – horses and chariots. All the gifts are alive and well in the Kingdom. Trust Me, receive My gifts and experience the power of the Kingdom of God here on earth.

It is what is needed right now. Will you receive it and ready yourself like the 5 virgins who were prepared for Me? Or will you be like the 5 who were unprepared (Matthew 25:1-13)? Will you be like the one who received 10 talents and gained the fullness of them or will you be like the one who buried the talents? (Matthew 25:14-30) Make your choice! Do not limit Me or My power. Believe in all I have told you and come into the banquet (Luke 14:16-22).

Prayer:
Lord, help me receive the fullness of Your name and all that it means. I want the fulness of You and Your Kingdom. Amen

Ezekiel 15 – the whole chapter if you are up for reading it – emphasis on Verse 2 ESV “Son of Man, how does the word of the vine surpass any word, the vine branch that is among the tree of the forest.”

Notice to whom this is written….to the Son of Man. Who is most referred to as Son of Man in the bible….Jesus. Could it also be read that Ezekiel was listening to a conversation between Me and Jesus?
I am telling Him of My need to punish the faithlessness and sin of My people, but I don’t want to because of who I am. I am pure love and I love My children so completely that I will do anything for them. Anything at all. But sin must be dealt with because it goes against everything that I am. Sin and perfect love cannot reside together….but My people now don’t believe in sin, so they don’t understand the problem or situation they are in. Oh, how sad this makes Me but, out of My deep love and My deep desire to gather My beloved children to Me, let Me explain this verse.

As you know, the vine branches represent My people (John 15:5). The vine of itself is not good for any use. It cannot be used to build anything, but that isn’t what I created it for. I created it to glorify Me, not to be of practical use. The vine, My children, think too highly of themselves right now, like entitled children. Very unbecoming. They refuse to accept that their value does not come from what they achieve or accomplish or accumulate. Their value comes from who they are…My children. Mad in My image. Like little gods (Psalm 82:6) but they take this blessing – being like little gods and attempt to hold onto it and glorify themselves rather than shine like the amazing creation they are, saying “look – I look just like My Dad”.

A vine who is only interested in itself is worthless, but a vine who wants to glorify its creator is beautiful. As I spoke to Jesus in this passage I pointed out that My wrath toward sin had to be handled. Sin cannot exist next to perfect love and heaven is a place of perfect love (you will love it there – give up everything else in your life to seek it and seek Me! It is so worth it). Imagine that Jesus heard all I said (much of it is written in Ezekiel) and heard My incredible dilemma summarized in

Ezekiel 20:21 ESV “Then I said I would pour out My wrath upon them and spend My anger against them in the wilderness.”

And
                Ezekiel 20:22 ESV “But I withheld My hand”

Jesus saw My pain and My dilemma and said he would step in and take care of it for Me. He would take all of the sin upon Himself so that I didn’t have to destroy My beautiful creatures whom I love so dearly and want to draw near to Me. Please, oh please, believe what is true. Believe in Me as pure love, believe in sin as pure evil and something you cannot control (Romans 7:15) and believe in Jesus who took care of the problem for us. You know it is true, deep inside you simply know it.
Please give in to the truth. Let go of ego and entitlement and believe what is true and allow Me to gather you into My perfect love which is desperately where you all want to be (Matthew 23:37). Come to Me. I am good.

Prayer:
Oh Lord, help me believe. Amen.
