December 1 - Daily Message - Philippians 2:19

I believe this is a message to us from God, written from His perspective – Sherri 

​Philippians 2:19 NLT “If the Lord Jesus is willing, I hope to…”
 
Paul recognizes that his desires are very good and yet there is an overriding plan that he is part of, and he graciously submits to it.
 
There are many things going on in the world right now.
 
Many have prayed for over many, many years, led by My Spirit.
 
Many have been planned since the beginning of time.
 
You fit into this plan.
 
You, personally, uniquely, specifically, fit into this plan.
 
As you think about your plans and what you hope to do; it honors Me greatly if you simply put the current “If the Lord Jesus is willing…” onto the statement. It doesn’t have to be a huge ceremony, just a thought or a prayer, simply acknowledging there is something greater going on beyond your individual hopes that could influence the decision.
 
Your hopes are very important to Me, and they are highly factored into the plan, and I appreciate when you hold your hopes a little bit loosely for the times when Jesus wills something else…knowing that your true desire is for Jesus Himself. He is the ultimate hope, which is why, when you do not get what you hope for it is okay because you get Jesus’ hopes instead, which are deeply satisfying
 
Hope…hope big…and let Jesus’ willingness bring them to fruition – or something better.
