November 23 - Daily Message - Jeremiah 33:20

I believe this is a message to us from God, written from His perspective – Sherri 

Jeremiah 33:20 ESV “Thus says the LORD. If you can break My covenant with the day and My covenant with the night, so that day and night will not come at their appointed time.”
 
The next verse continues to say it will  be possible to break My covenant with David, that he will always have a son on the throne (Jer 33:21). Notice the strength of this statement…obviously you cannot change the day and night so My covenant with David is secure. My covenant with David is fulfilled trough Jesus and by Jesus. He is the Son of David because He comes through David’s blood line. He reigns forever (Revelation 11:15), and this was achieved – My covenant was fulfilled because He arrived on earth, was crucified, rose again, and took His everlasting place on His through because He was willing to sacrifice everything.
 
Know this, please. There is nothing you can do or not do that breaks My covenant. Please don’t let anything get in the way of our eternal covenant with each other. Nothing can. So don’t let it.
 
Come near to Me.
 
Lay down anything and everything that could get in your way and come, confidently, to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Nothing else matters. Nothing can come between Me and you, just like nothing can cause My covenant with the day and night to be broken…unless you want or allow it to with your free will, which I will fully honor. If you are trying to stay at arm’s length from Me and you choose to do this by focusing on something egregious you have done, thinking that your actions, choices, or sins are more powerful than My covenant or Jesus’ sacrifice and resurrection when He conquered all sin and conquered even death, then you can. You can choose to keep Me at arm’s length…
 
Or…
 
You can remove all obstacles between you and the true and complete love  you so deeply desire and rest in My arms without hindrance, simply by receiving the powerful gift given to you by Christ Himself by simply thanking Him and believing in His love for you. Just believe it for a moment…and see what happens. Believe in the fullness of His love for you – it will unite us as one and you will find life everlasting here on earth, which you deeply desire and yet recognize you need Jesus to fulfill.
 
It's okay…just believe. I will take care of the rest!
